[Resolved]  Sanjay Gupta — Harassment for not giving Bribe.

Dear Sir,
On dated 01-03-12 my son Swarnim Gupta with his Valid ticket was to travel from the Kalka Mail. My wife along with me was with him at the Howrah Station.
When one of the Lady T.C (without her name plate) wearing a black coat approached us. She demanded the Valid Travelling document. On producing the document with a platform ticket, she started arguing with us and demanded Rs. 500 as a BRIBE. As we argued she torn away the Platform Ticket and suppressed us that we do not hold a ticket. She later demanded for the penalty.
My son was going to appear his Examination so we accepted the FALSE OFFENCE in order to end the matter soon and paid her the desired amount.
But then also she was not contented and did not give the ticket back. She started abusing and penalizing us. At last I was force to go to the Station Master to lodge a complaint and to explain him the incident. Even the Station master was surprised after hearing the complaint. He was co-operative enough and gave us the complaint book to lodge a complaint for the unnecessary harassment.
Till that time also the lady did not give us the ticket and so we went to the GRP Howrah. The complaint was later lodged there and we identified the TC in front of the officer.
Later when we came out of the GRP Howrah two-three people came to us and asked as to withdraw the complaint. We then came back to our residence as my son could not board the train which had left while these incidents took place, In spite of having the Valid Confirmed Ticket. Just after I reached my residence I got a call from the Assistant Commercial Manager who declared his name as S.Mondal told me to meet on the next day[protected] regarding the matter.

This incident of not giving the BRIBE has spoiled everything and which will affect my son’s examination He has also become disturbed by the incident.
I would request you to kindly take some immediate action a soon as possible against the person who led to this nuisance and keep us informed about the actions taken.
