Saraswatibai Bishwambharlal Charity Trust which is registered as a Public Trust with the Charity Commissioner of Mumbai collects rents from around thirty-seven flats of Maheshwari Mansion at 34 Nepean Sea Road, Mumbai. There are several litigations pending against the Trust in Small Causes Court in Mumbai. The trustees of this Public Trust include Krishnagopal Bishwambharlal Maheshwari. The trust issues illegal rent receipts. Some rent receipts are issued in the names of persons who are not residing in the building and some rent receipts are issued in the names of dead persons to file false suits and harass the legal occupants and residents. The rent receipts issued by the trust includes several heads such as water charges paid to Bombay Municipal Corporation. It must be mentioned that no court has bothered to inquire into the ancestors and lineage of Krishnagopal Bishwambharlal Maheshwari. On the one hand, he had ruined the life of his nephew late Harishchandra Mahavirprasad Mantri and on the other hand he had ruined the life of his cousin late Brijmohan Chandak in Bagar, Rajasthan. He claims to have been born in Somani family and was adopted by Chandak family so he uses Maheshwari as his surname. He has ruined the lives of their descendents too. He even usurped a bungalow Anand Bhawan at Nasik Road which legally belongs to Raosaheb Raobahadur Narayandas Sunderlal Rathi and his son Jaikisandas Rathi, the father-in-law of Harishchandra Mahavirprasad Mantri. Even Maheshwari House at 36 Nepean Sea Road which is his residence is registered as a firm Gopal Traders to evade Wealth Tax. Was this information helpful? |
