Sardar Sarovar Narmada Nigam LTd., a company wholly owned by Govt of Gujarat has issued deep discount bonds 16 years back for a total period of 20 years with a deemed face value of Rs. 1,11,000/- and it did not had an option to redeem it prematurely as per the prospectus.

But now the company is redeeming the bonds 5 years in advance without having any legal provisions for the same.,

I would like to know the status of the case filed against this by various organisations at High court of Gujarat as well as at Supreme court.

Pl help as I am holding few bonds of this company

Premature Redemption on dt.15-jan-2010. I may submit for your kind informTION that I had never been asked about the option
of premature of redemption nor intimated about the same. Although a period of 1year and 2 months has passed the
redemption amount has neither been credited to my above bank account nor I have received any cheque of the same amount.
However, now I may request you to settle this dispute either by sending a cheque of redemption amount at my above given
address or crediting the same to my above bank account without cutting the TDS as I will file I.T return against my
PAN NO. AEPPD 2727Q.

I lost in transit my deep discount bond bearing folio no.480303 and certificate no.499785.send a letter alongwith copy of FIR, photocopy of bond certificate and my savings a/c detail requesting either issue duplicate copy of the same bond or deposit the cheque in my savings a/c by speed post on 24/10/09 to m/s MCS Ltd. ,101 shadal complex Ashram Road ,Ahmedabad.requesting several times on phones and told me 15 days back.that your bond has been sent to you, but till date i have not recd.plz. look into the matter.

I have invested in Sardar Sarovar Narmada Nigam Ltd. Bond vide folio no. 338574 in name of GIRIJA VIJAYARAGHVAN MENON, But till date I have not received the said Bond / Certificate of my said folio no. Only I have received a letter dtd 15.07.2008 of optional exit route payment offer from Bond Service Centre.

Kindly do the needful and arrange me bond certificate at earliest.

Sub:-Fraudulent Transfer of Sardar Sarovar Narmada Nigam Deep Discount Bond Regd Folio No.500623

Dear Sir,

Since 06.11.2008 , I am Chasing the Matter in regards to Non receipt of Sardar Sarovar Narmada Nigam Deep Discount Bond Regd Folio No.500623 Vide Registered Post/Fax and Telecom with The Registrar and Transfer Agent ,M C S Limited,101 Shatdal Complex, Ist Floor ,Opposite Bata Show Room ,Ashram Road, Ahmedabad and requesting them for Issuing of Duplicate Bond and have sent sent Indemnity Bond duly signed as executed ,duly notarized with Demand Draft of Rs.700/- as being asked by them.

To my surprise and my disbelief ,I was been informed by them vide letter Dated 22.05.2009 and 23.10.2009 that the said bond certificate has been transferred in favour of Shri Jitendar Trivedi residing at Ahmedabad. More so ever I was been asked to contact Shri Jitendra Traivedi ,the accused who committed the fraud with assistance of staff of MCS Ltd. Team.

It was a case of Fraud as MCS was very well aware of the fact that I have not received the Deep Discount Bonds and continuously requesting them for Issuing of Duplicate Bond with a request to stop any payment against them ,even though the Bonds were been transferred in the name of accused.

As the Bond were been transferred to Shri Jitendar Trivedi residing at Ahmedabad fraudulently by MCS Ltd. knowing all the Facts . I requested them to immediately investigate the matter and lodge the FIR at the nearest Police station against the officials involved in this fraud at their end and against Shri Jitendra Trivedi immediately and Stop any payment against this Bond .

Even though till date no action has been taken by MCS Ltd as well as SARDAR SAROVAR NIGAM Ltd who is been informed of complete matter .MCS Ltd is asking me to contact Shri Jitendra Trivedi a resident of Ahmedabad involved in this Fraud with their own Staff.

I request you to please assist me in getting the money fraudulently been transferred to Shri Jitendar Trivedi by MCS Ltd and get the culprits involved in this Fraud punished..
