[Resolved]  SBI Credit Cards — SBI Card :[protected]Inactive card) : "Written off " in CIBIL report

Dear Sir/Madam,

I was approached by a representative of SBI Credit card in the year 2006 (In Bangalore), He offered me credit card and said there is no processing fee and not any hidden charges will be levied on me and also promised it is a life time free card. I accepted the card on this ground and got the card.I received an sbi credit card [card a/c no:[protected]] in 2006. In 2007 I received a call saying that I have a out-standing of amount RS.1500,I never made any purchase through this card and also card was not activated yet and refused to pay this amount. Also, I have made a request to close my credit card. After that I didn't received any calls from SBI cards nor statements, I was in a impression card was closed.

Now my name is appearing in the CIBIL report for an outstanding of Rs. 9808 and with status Written-off. Axis Bank is not giving me home loan because of this CIBIL report against SBI card.

Please do the needful and request you to remove my name from CIBIL. It is really affecting my home loan process and impacting my own house dream.(mentally I am disturbed due to this)

Please do send the statement if the amount specified was used by me in any transactions using my card.
