[Resolved]  SBI Life Insurance Company — Surrendered policy amount

Sir/Madam
I have surrendered ULIP policy Horizon II Policy no:-[protected] on January 18, 2010. But till today I have not received my amount. i have sent my complaint to sbi life but they are ignoring me and harassing me financially and mentally. Please help me. i am sending you the copy of receipt of surrendered policy of date 18 January 2010.
my complaint is as follows:-

Sub: - Regarding the payment of surrendered ULIP policy no [protected] Horizon II

Sir/Madam,
I had ULIP (policy no [protected]) Horizon II. I have surrendered above ULIP along with requisite formalities at your Jodhpur branch on January 18, 2010. Then I was told that the amount of this surrendered policy will be given to me with in twenty days from the surrendered date. After twenty three days I have not received the cheque, thereafter, I contacted your customer care service and registered the complaint with complaint no 634008 on date 11/02/10.The customer care representative asked me to contact again after three days. I contacted once again after three days then told me that I have single name ( no surname) in my policy documents and concerning department has hold this cheque, he asked me to provide my PAN card & bank details while I had submitted my PAN card copy at the time of commencement of policy. Despite this, I have given my details to your branch on 13/2/10. Your branch officials said wait few days more. It is very surprised to me that you have problem to send the cheque of same name which is shown in costumer’s original policy.
Well, I am not satisfied with your services that you have not informed this problem to me after more than twenty days while it is your duty to intimate the concerning customer.
I waited for one week more but I was again disappointed. After this I have contacted Mr. Pradeep Bohra of your Jodhpur branch. He told me to wait few days more. Now after passing one month and seven days I have not received the required cheque.
I am now very disappointed and regret why I have invested my money around 1.25 lacs per annum in your various products. I realize how I was foolish that I have invested a huge amount in your bogus company where precious customers are treated as stupid and foolish. Your company not only tortures your customers but also misguides and harasses them. I am the example of your these activities. You have not only misguided me but also you have tortured and harassed me financially and mentally both. Your bogus company and its employees are useless.
I advise you not to send the cheque to me because it is my constraint to go consumer court for getting cheque with interest and compensation. Now I will take this amount in consumer court. I will advise my all friends and relatives no to invest in SBI life co ltd. in future.

I also SBI life insurance customer, I feel your really very sad.
You sent your story in a national news paper because they are not understand the problem of that man who given lot of amount of our life to the bank and now he is waiting for return of his amount.
When bank understand that their reputation down by one man they can action on your policy, Media is powerful platform.

i am having sbi life insurance policies for 1 lakh each in my son and wofe3's names. I am having the policies as well with me. But it is really shameful to say that nowhere in the policy customer id is given without which a custoer cannot register online for future operations.
