SCB — Keepin Name in the cibil without prior notice | |
I had a credit card in 1999 and i closed the card in 2000. By then we were owed SCB 7500/-.I applied for a loan in 2009 in SBI.when asked the bank gave me statement saying that my name was in CIBIL and i had to pa 80000/- to SCB.When consulted SCB after a month i got a call from him saying me to come to his bank and clear the due.I had a settlement by paying 30000/-.All this happened because i was not even intimated any time in these 10 years that i had to pay some money to SCB.I was not even informed about this any time in all these years.I had to stop the construction for 6 months til today.I requested him to take the double amount of m due but he did not care m request.I want yo to take necessary action against this because this is not at all fare to harass people tellin them about their due details when we want to know it.How can SCb being a big established one do such cheap trics against their loyal costemers. SCB — SCB Agent demands undue payment and refuses to give his email id.
Credit Card No. :[protected]I had been a "prompt paying" SCB Credit Card user since 1995 but due to some billing discrepancy , I was constrained to switch to AMEX ( I have an excellent credit history with them)
Recently I received a call from their agency (Sonia - tel no.[protected] and have been proactively calling them to sort the issue. On Dec 8th 2009 , One person by the name of Ravi tells me there is a pending charge of INR 1500 of Aug 2005.
In the spirit of ending the harassing calls I told him to send me a confirmation and I will pay this amount. To this, Mr. Ravi said I would have to pay atleast INR 10000 to settle the issue. he refused to mail me the details or give me his Senior or give me his email id.
His behavior was very un-scrupulous and threatening.
SCB, it seems is living up to its arm twisting reputation.
