[Resolved] Shama Sardar Travels Madurai — Rude and Misbehaving to customers | |||
Hi All, I am Anand from Chennai. Yesterday[protected] I booked a ticket Madurai to chennai on Shama sardar travels using redbus.in. In Redbus they specified as By using the Mticket(SMS/mobile ticket) to board on the bus and this operator will accept that. I received both E-Mail copy of my ticket as well as SMS ticket. I just wanted to confirm that(because some of the operators won't accept the SMS ticket, but for them in Redbus website they didn't specify that and redbus is very clear and specific on this) so I dialled to the local (madurai) sardar travels office(number specified in sms) and asked whether i need a printout to board. They specified "no need SMS will do". So I went to their office by 12:45 as the bus will start by 1:00 in the noon. and shown the SMS. Without even looking at that. They just said "GO AND GET THE PRINTOUT FROM that browsing center". The guy who said that he left the place without even hear what i am trying to say. There is a Guy sitting in the office. i said that I dialed to this number already and someone from your office told that SMS is more than enough to board the bus. that's why I didn't take the printout. Then why you have specified in the Redbus website Mticket is allowed. He replied that why can't you spend 10 or 20 rupees to take a printout. But this is not the answer i need. When he talked about money. I really got tensed and said, as I spend around 550 rupees to book the ticket. Why can't i spend 10 rupees to take a print out. that's not the point. Now the whole converstion turns into treating their customer. I have already checked about this option and they agreed upon it. and in the last min. Why i have to go around the busstand and search for a place to take printout. He started talking rude and with out respect. "A customer is the most important visitor on our premises. He is not dependent on us. We are dependent on him. He is not an interruption in our work - he is the purpose of it. We are not doing him a favour by serving him.
