I received an SMS on my phone on the 18 September 2008 saying I won $3 Million, is this true. Please reply

what is this is it true or a bogus sms to my mobile their is any body looking at this or these type of sms is airtel responsible for sms like you have won $20, 000 million dollors which i have received with out phone number will i have to complaint to airtel or to cops about how can any one send this type of sms i think i will have to take strict action against sender it self how can any body send any bull like this.

Sms from shell company informing about prize money is not false.i got the money within a month.those who got the sms, quickly call the prize administrator(tele No. wiil be in sms).

Shell Mobile draw — about winning $3million

Almost one and half month ago i have received a message on my mobile from shell mobile draw that my number has won me $3 million in mobile draw.i want to know is it true or not . on[protected] i have a call from +[protected] number they asked me to send the fund release charges to get the winning prize which is 37000 thousand in indian rupesse. so i want to know that is it true or not . i read so many complaints on indian consumer.com... so please reply as soon as possible ...

Today I have received the same regards to offer for winning the US$3Million. Fraudster are using the platform as mobile- sms. Some body from the NonProfit organisation has to pitch in to have better usage of Mobile SMS.

i had recieved an text message on my mobile from shell mobile draws that i have won a GBP 250000
..TO CLAIM THAT ...i emailed the given i.d
and aslo gave my personal information, but now i came to know that it is a scam, so now what can i do??...please help...my personal information is on the roll.

I received a text message from shell mobile draws on the 12th of may that says i have received GBP 200, 000. i also gave my personal information, how do i go about it.

I have also got such an SMS!

In a world of scams it is not wise to send your personal information to an unknown person. Any genuine company would call and inform you about the Prize rather than sending an SMS and asking you to send your details to some unknown email id.

I urge all of you not to give away any personal information to anybody. Please follow the same for people calling for promoting their products and services. Do not give away even your name.
