To- Complaints area, Customer Service, India times.

Sir/Madam-
I have ordered Blackberry Torch 9800 on Feb 21, 2011. My credit card has been charged the same day for Rs. 25, 839.

I recd the prodouct on Feb 28, 2011, even though it was said 5 days.

The product was defective. It was used with somone else's sim card in it. It had no charger or cable. The manual booklet was missing. The case was opened. The product was not charging even when connected to a usb cable in an airtel office.

I called about 10 time already. I was directed to call the vendor NR Computech. The vendor was non responsive and gave excuses, told me to call up india times again. One more thing. The vendor was rude enough to say to my wife that if we capable of spending so much money on the phone, we should just go and buy a charger ourselves.

Is that a way to speak to a customer?

I called India times again totally frustrated.

They said they will have the product picked up finally. I waited. I got an email from them on march 7 with courier pickup details. I waited 3 days, then called again. India times told me that I have now to call the courier service myself. I got angry. So they said they will call afl themselves. AFL then did not have time to pick up for another 3 days. They finally came to pick up at 9 pm one day, but without any AWB number. I said i cannot hand over a product without a receipt. Then they gave me a receipt with awb number. AFL[protected].

I called today again to india times. They said my awb nubmer is totally wrong. I said I have a copy of the receipt with me. He asked me to fax it. I said I am totally upset and I will nto do anything anymore. I have been going around in circles calling, faxing, doing your job for the last 2 weeks. Mr. Anchal then said I am lying, and said the system shows that it is only 2 days since they recd the complaing. He threatened to disconnect since i was frustrated. He threatened my thrice. Finally disconnected.

I am at my wits end now, you have taken Rs. 25,839 from me, sent me a faulty product and a have a customer service that threatens customers..

I am documenting this email and the prior trail for a legal court case on this, unless you ship a brand new product to me by this monday March 14, or else you give me a complete refund by March 14.

Regards,
Rajiv and Rupal Baphna
