I placed an order on October 12th for delivery. It was my parents 40th wedding anniversary. I regret using Rediff because the order was never delivered not on 13th as promised on their website nor the next day on 14th nor the rest of the week! I had to call my visa company and cancel it as there was no way I could contact them for an update. They did not even have the courtesy to send me an email. I have missed a once a lifetime opportunity thanks to their INCOMPETENCE. This is the first and last time I am using Rediff service. EVERY other service I used in the past have made deliveries on time to several cities in India including this one. I will NOT recommend Rediff service to anyone. Their website claims that orders received before 1.30 PM will be delivered the same day. My order was placed at least 12 hours before your cut off time. 5 days later nothing was delivered. if anyone of you areplanning to buy stuff from rediff pls think again, or i would strongly say pls dont think at all. I have purchased stuff from other portals but never faced any problem and the transaction was carried out smoothly, but rediff really has tested my patience. I had placed order on the 22nd of sept and was informed the delivery would happen within 7- 10 days which was fine with me, but it never showed up, i called their bangalore number only to be reassured that will be delivered in 3-4 days and and again they failed. I would'nt say these guys are pathetic because thats business model they never deliver to customer who opt for cash on delivery and if you pame a credit card payment then god save you as there have been instances where the money debits the a/c and the delivery never turns up, i guess i was lucky atleast i havend lost my money. my sencere equest is DONOT BUY FROM REDIFF, unless you have time, money and patience and finally ending with nothing
