I placed an order for a gift item through Rediff Shopping on 17-Dec-10 for a 'Pearl Jewelery Set on gold plated base'. Order # 6230218. The item was delivered on 29-Dec-10. On opening of parcel, Product was found in damaged condition due to improper packing and rough handling. Immediately, i sent an e.mail intimation to customer [protected]@ Rediff shopping. I was directed to return the Product within 7 days at the seller's address, Seemagifts, Vipul Salva, A-302, Navkar apts.,Cr. Rd. No.4, Malad West, Mumbai-400064 (Phone#[protected]. Accordingly, I sent the item through Blaze-flash courier vide C.No.[protected] on 04.01.2011 and intimated shipping details to the customer support executive (Ms. Pooja Valecha). After two days, I received a phone call from another customer executive (Yogesh) intimating another address of seller. When I told that I have already returned the Product he did not respond.Now, Product has already been delivered at the seller's address. I requested for the replacement and refund of courier charges but they are not responding because they have committed mistake. I want to proceed for legal action against Rediff Shipping if I don't get the Product and courier charges. I have saved all the e.mails received or sent and I am not at fault anywhere.Can anybody advise in the matter against unfair practices of Rediff Shipping.
