[Resolved] Shriram Insurance — Non clearance of claim | |||
Here is a copy of my complaint letter to the insurance company. Dear sir/ ma'am, 1. I am an officer of the Indian Air Force and am posted in Allahabad. I have a Honda City car HR 26 AK 6204 which is insured with shriram insurance since july last year. 2. On 20 March this year I had an unfortunate accident while I was in Lucknow. Because of the exorbitantly high prices being quoted in Lucknow and also because I wanted to get the car repaired at my place of duty for obvious reasons, I moved my vehicle for repair to Allahabad. This was done in consultation with the surveyor who had already surveyed my car and the agent who had got my car insured in the first place. The relevant mail is forwarded. 3. My vehicle was repaired and delivered to me on 30 Mar and within a week the claim was submitted. However, today, two and a half months later, I regret to inform you that my claim is still pending. Needless to say, not only does it speak very poorly about the company, it takes the customer satisfaction levels to a new all time low. This is when I have been in regular touch with the person in charge of shriram insurance at Allahabad, who has repeatedly assured me (no pun intended) that my claim is on priority. I have been given your email ids by the same person. If there was a problem with the claim, then the same could have been intimated to me. However, Mr. Mohit srivastava assures me that everything is in order. 4. It is my sincere request, that the needfull be done to ensure that my claim is cleared. If there is any clarification required then my mobile number is at the bottom of this page. 5. Please accord appropriate priority.
