[Resolved]  Siemens Washing Machine — No service for Siemens in India

My name is Subhashini. I am from Chennai, India. Siemens service in India, is the worst one you can ever get.I dint know whom to contact to talk about this.
I bought my machine WM-A0716 on 18th july 2006. The machine started running slow in july 2008. I called siemens service centre @[protected]. They said they would come and nobody turned up.I waited for a month.During first week of september 08, icalled them back, even then no one came, every week i kept on calling, they would say yes we will send service person, thats all. On 27 sep 08, i talkled to chennai manger Mr.Ramesh and he send me service on that day.The service person diagnosed shaft problem in machine and gave me bill for 3500/-INR. I called Mr.Ramesh and wanted explanantion for the same.He agreed his fault for not having send service person in time nad said he would repair my machine under waarranty. Thereafter no one cme to pick the machine at all. There are on ly 2-3 girls in the call centre.The moment i tell my name the girls seemed to give some irresponsible answer for not picking the machine. On 6th of october, again after so much of complaining, they picked up the machine from home. And now its 3rd of november and i dont know what they re doing with my machine.Till this date no body has called me from siemens regarding it.I call them every week to find the status. The manger said, on fixing the shaft they had leakage nd then misalingment. He agrees its his technician's problem. BUt every time the answer is "machine should be ready by nexrt week".I called Mumbai call centre, they said Mr.Mahesh would call me, he also dint cll me.Chennai office is shiftd and i dont know their new address.The machine costed 24000/-INR(approx). Please give me some authority's contact who would ansmwer me.
This is not a rare incidence..If you visit http://www.compareindia.com/complaint-box/ there are mnay such complaints on Siemens there. Please raise it to concerned authority. If not stop selling your machine in India.

I bought Siemens Washing Machine, WM14S790GC, on Dec. 9, 2011 from Siemen’s Preferred Dealer, D J Appliances, Mumbai 400054 for Rs 56, 000: a price much higher than comparable machines in market. On the hope that Siemens will be superior to others. Alas, my hopes were entirely belied. Within just 2 1/2 years of buying(and just outside of warranty period of 2 years), the machine has conked off, showing error code F 57. A technician came home and made a cursory examination to say that the Motor Module needs to be replaced at a cost of Rs 9940/- plus visit charges of Rs 800/-.

After 10 days and several mails/phone calls to Siemens Customer Service about the unconscionably high charges and early repair requirement, their technician came and replaced the part. He gave me a princely discount of 25% on the part, but still the damages came to well over Rs 8000/-.

Don’t go on the assumption that a pricey machine from an MNC is better suited to you. They are probably a lot worse than a much more reasonably priced Indian or for that matter a Korean appliance.
My Siemens washing machine stopped working and I lodged a complaint with Siemens Service call centre on 25 Sep 2014 and no one has come for service so far. 2 days back one service person called and said he would come that day or the next day. We said earlier the better. But he closed the complaint saying he did get suitable service time from us. Siemens after sales service sucks and the call centre says the same thing over and over like a recorded message. No escalation channel or process in place
the same is my problem . Siemens service is the worst tghing in the world.I recommend not to buy this product again
Dear Reader, I have purchased a siemens washing machine before two years. 2th May 2012 to be more precise. I just spent more money because of the brand name of siemens. But Now I felt like it was a wrong decision. The machine had a warranty of 2 years.just after 2 yrs machine got some issue and i spent 800 rs to get it repaired though it was under warranty period. Just one year after that machine again got some problem of lock. This time the technician came and asked to change lock. Even we agreed to pay amount also but the serviceman is not responding. the machine is non-functional since 10 days and service people are not bothering to do. The machine stopped working during washing and it conatins water in the drum which is not able to be removed manually. There is a high risk of hazards or damage. who is going to take the responsibility for the same. Pls get it repaired soon.

After using for few months the machine had problems and i contacted Ahmedabad office, they promised me to help and gave me a engineer's name who was close to my place, i contacted him and he promised me to come and see the machine in 3 days as he had to finish some other complaints that were pending. Thsi 3 days never happend, days turned to weeks and months and my poor parents kept calling all number, they were asked to call puna office and when called were kept waiting for couple of hours on STD call when asked how can one keep on hold for so long Siemens Auth., told them that since it was our problem we had to wait.
