[Resolved] Skoda Superb — Skoda Service Centers Loot Money from Innocent Customers | |||
I am an owner of 2008 Skoda Superb. In June 2011, I got a complete service done for the car from Skoda dealer in Gurgaon: Giriraj Motors. It included all Oil Change, general service, and also replaced the Coolant Reservoir with a new one. 2 days after the service, the car's system started giving the message for low coolant level. I contacted a local mechanic and he put in 2 full bottles of coolant. However, few days later it again started giving the same coolant issue. I took it to another Skoda Dealer: Fahrenheit Motors and told him the issue. The Skoda representative over there, Mr. Hemant, told me he will charge an initial Rs. 1250 just to look at the car and will charge separately for parts, oil etc.; and that I will have to wait for 1 hour for it. As I had no other choice, I agreed to demand. All they did was to bring 1 mechanic who found that the issue maybe because of a loose connection while fixing the Coolant Reservoir. Still they are not sure if the issue is resolved, and I might have to come again and shell out more money. And for this small thing they charged me Rs. 1250 + service tax. Because of this blunder done by Giriraj Motors, I had to shell out so much money with the Fahrenheit Motors and local mechanics. The Skoda service centers provide the worst service at exorbitant prices and without much result. Was this information helpful? | |||
