I purchased a Skoda Rapid Ultima I.16 MPI from Tafe access pvt limited, in Bangalore in April 2014. I was warned not to purchase a Skoda considering the worst after sales service quality in India. I ignored the warnings of my friends and well-wishers and went ahead with the purchase, because of the legacy of the brand. I wish to bring to your notice the inconvenience faced thus far. Skoda India — Cheating at Skoda Jubilee hills Branch!

1) I brought a new skoda rapid at a discount as it was 2016 model. I was given a quote of 12.94 lacs after reducing on the on road price
2) When i went to collect the original documents, i came to know that the invoice amount has been quoted less in RTA site and also the insurance IDV is reduced based on that
3) After repeated questioning, firstly they tried to bluff and when i persisted then they are asking me to pay the differential amount to RTO
4) Also already the IDV value is reduced by more than 10% for the insurance they are giving and that too for a new vehicle

This is the complaint regarding skoda rapid mh 03cb 8210

1. My vehicle reached on 1st april 2017 at 14:00 hrs.
2. Issue is with check engine light.
3. Under warranty repair will be done and car will be returned back was 3rd april 2017 which on 05th april turns to be chargeable.
4. For servicing i send the car from ghatkoper (West) to autobann (Kurla)
5. Till now nobody is giving the proper feedback as they are unable to diagnose the fault.
6. Its been 4 working days now my car issue still not resolved by the service centre.

It is embarrassing for me to make the 3rd complaint to you under three years for my car Octavia car number HR 26 CH 6054.

Just to give you a brief of the first two complaints so far :
1. Within the first 8 months, my car battery broke down, which came back with a faulty lock, it took Skoda 21 days to fix this, and the staff through this was very rude. Details in the trailing mail.
2. Last July the battery broke down again, we called your Mumbai office, you sent the battery replacement with a 2 year warranty.

I am not happy at all about vehicle service work & people as they r not repairing part .They r asking to replace the part which is fully fuctional.I am specifically against as these people misguide. I had repeated visited Skoda workshop but always got upset with their work.Service after sell is very bad at nashik skoda .I did scanning of my vehicle 3 months before, they ask me to change mechkantroni unit of automatic gear box. But i denied that to do .As my vehicle got work done outside which not required to replace mekantronic unit.I always asked them to show scanning reports...

The Major Concern is, on March 4th 2017 my Skoda Rapid went through Service and Yesterday 16th March 2017 it dint start, There was not even previous complaint history .
"GURUDEV MOTORS-THE NAME YOU CANT TRUS"T.The Battery was Dead and I'm still Surprised because The Car Lights were not left on 0r thr AC -Its the NEW Battery (1.5 years Old) And we dont have any complains in represent of it before Service.HAVE THEY CHANGED MY CAR BATTERY DURING SERVICE?? IS THE BATTERY CHECKED PROPERLY DURING SEERVICE??

I own a Skoda Fabia Vehicle in Goa - India, which has issues for Steering. Last year we have registered a complain for Steering Rack at the time of 3rd Service which is under extended warranty. It was informed that the parts will be available within 14 days but still the issue is not resolved. This is the 4th Service & I have taken my vehicle for service & we have registered the complain, now the company says the warranty due date is finished & we cannot change it under warranty. I have recently gave an order of a rapid which is a company purchase with full amount.due to some reason the cheque was returned back, and I have paid a certain amount for accessories for the car.after the cheque got returned back due to my personal problems I have told to stop the transaction process.and I have told the Skoda dealer to return back my accessories refund which they are telling they can't do so.please help me with the process....

Skoda India — Clutch Plate Problem in 25K [Resolved]

I purchased Skoda Rapid Ambition Diesel in 2014, it ran only 25K and I got the problem of clutch plate. Car was jerking on first gear and I could not drive at all. Just few weeks before I noticed steering wheel vibrating too much when I slowly apply the break when speed is in between 80 to 100 KM/H

Though I drive my car in traffic, there are other brands who also drive in the same city condition but they have not got this problem. I checked with my friends who own Maruthi, Honda, etc..

Service advisor tells me they have to replace the clutch plate, and replace items...

I have brought skoda Rapid car in June 2014. Reg. No.- (MH 12 LD 4000)
From the 1st day of delivery my car had a problem of wiring faults and I had been scanned it many times in skoda workshop but everytime they had done unwanted and temporary work for that.
In November 2016 my car had been troubles about leaving the current for a second and that car had the major flicks. At that time i had given it to the Viiraaj skoda workshop at wagholi (pune) and they had told me about the wiring defaults and I had charged 10000 Rs for that....

I have already paid for my Service under Annual maintenance package along with monthly EMI as part of the company scheme while purchasing the car .
Now when i sent my car for Annual Service they have rejected my Service request under Annual maintenance package i have opted for and asking to to pay again for the service stating that my service is overdue hence i will not be given approval for service under AMC.
I am surprised to hear that as i have already paid for my service and this kind of issue is raised now only in three years, They never raised concerned in my last services as...

Skoda India — Skoda Rapid Clutch wear and tear at 10000 kms [Resolved]

I have a skoda rapid . Clutch assembly is tearing off every 10000 kms . First time I had this problem they said it is because of driving style, I can not believe this as i drive others cars too, but I accepted and paid for it . Now at 20000 kms I am facing same problem, on pressing accelerator RPM is going high and car is not accelerating .

Now I request skoda india to look into this problem, it is not driving style problem but something faulty about car assembly .

Our car on 3rd dec, got stop without any warning, we have given the car to Service center of the Saga Automotive, Jaipur, there they told us Some belt was broken and given us the estimate for 1, 70, 000/- When we asked why it was broken and why it was not checked in the earlier service, they have not given any answer, there after we are sending mail to head of customer care (india) Jatinder Walia and copany personal Mr. Subir Singh, byt they are not responding to numerous mail we have send.
