Fully agree with you. I think that the prices mentioned at Snapdeal do not reflect the prices in the market at that point of time. They put the price the product was launched at as it MRP and claim any reduction (from launch price as is natural due to depreciation with passage of time) as discount even when the price of the product in open market would have fallen. This is a fake discount. Frankly I believe that the best bet to find the correct online price of a product is to check ebay.in to see the price at and around which most sellers have listed the product. I am not advising that people should buy from ebay.in (that is dependent on you), I am only saying that it is a brilliant way to judge the price of a product instead of depending on sites like snapdeal that advertise fake discounts
