Bharat Gas — Gowdown in Residential area

This is with regard to the functioning of a Bharat Gas godown in a residential locality near my house in Dhadi Rathinam street West saidapet Chennai -15 Tamil nadu India near Raghva reddy colony , which is surely a common nuisance apart from a social hazard for the following reasons

1) Daily between 6 Am and 8 Am two gas lorries come via small streets which are not even sufficient for one car and one auto to pass other , the road condition is also so bad that the lorry can tilt any time during passing these streets .
2) The lorries are driven by very young persons who I don’t think even have license to drive
3) There is so much of carelessness in the way which the cylinders are unloaded and loaded
4) All the staff smoke while doing the work and around the godown .
5) Even security measures like fire fighting kits are not placed around the godown .
6) Apart from this when the cylinders are loaded in small three wheelers they are left standing in the middle of the road obstructing traffic has to be taken care of in ic .


Our Requests

1) Whether such gas godowns are given licenses to run in these kinds of areas which do not even have proper road approaches .
2) What are the safety mesasures that has to be taken care of in cases of these godowns so that persons staying close are not affected .
3) To advice as to what is the requirement of having godowns in such residential areas

Spark Solution — Airlines Manila to Chennai

Hi

I travelled from Manila to Chennai Vis KL on 1st Feb'10 by MH. I had excess baggage at Manila and i regruped my hand bag and checkin bag to get cleared by paying additional charges for check-in bag. Unfortunately I was asked to pay again for the bag i was carring in my hand or to remove the stuffs so that they will allow me to get-in to the flight. On top of this they are only accepting ringet at the counter. Upon arrival at home i tried to contact the customer care and seek clarification for the same but for no use. I even asked the process of getting back my stuffs what i was forced to left there at KL, but that also seems missing. Quite surprising and sounds funny. I have all the mail communication between the Customer care officer pertaining to this. Please help me in this regard. My major question here is if i was asked to adjust my baggages at Manila and was cleared there then why i was questioned again at KL for the same service provider. Please clarify.
