[Resolved]  Speed Post Service — NON DELIVERY OF ATM CARD

My name is Santosh Kumar Singh, I have an account with SBI Udaipur since October 2009 under Defence Salary Package, the A/C No. is [protected]. I had received my welcome kit in the month of October 2009 which contains first ATM Card.

I also requested the branch to issue another add-on card for spouse. In the mean time I got posted to Delhi Cantt.

When I visited SBI Udaipur in last week of March 2010 I came to know that on 07 March 2010 my second ATM card was dispatched to me at my previous unit, ie 13 RAJ RIF, C/O 56 APO, the address I given to the SBI. till date I am in regular contact of my previous unit i.e. 13 RAJ RIF on tele but the ATM card not yet received by the receipt desk of 13 RAJ RIF. I also given the unit the speed post number under which my 2nd ATM card forwarded (ie TY[protected]IN) but it is intimated by my unit on tele that no record is found of that speedpost number in receipt register. Also the ATM Card was not returned back to SBI Udaipur branch if not delivered.

Now I am in fear that there might be chances that my 2nd ATM card may be got in wrong hands. Due to my posting in November 2009 I had not drawn my salary from the newly opened account, thereafter at new posting place due to some formalities and in the above said fear I decided to wait for receipt of my 2nd ATM card. Formally I also informed my Records & Account offices regarding the new SBI A/C Number as my salary account, so there is no chance left to start my pay in another account.

However, may I request you to kindly guide me what step I have to take to know whereabouts of my 2nd ATM card. May I be confirmed that speedpost number I mentioned above is correct and secondly could I be informed the post office tele number from where the speedpost delivered.
