[Resolved]  Star Jalsha — Maa serial

As a viewer of a channel of an aesthetically inclined channel, such as Star Jalsha, I would like to protest against the show of adultery, which is being shown in Ishti Kutum. It is extremely demeaning that an educated journalist to behave thus. While he has all his rights to fall in love, he has no legal right to commit polygamy. At least, this cannot be accepted in the modern scheme of things. It is atrocious to see and tolerate that he has been playing with the sentiment of both the girls- who are supposed to be educated and enlightened by all standards. While he can continue with his romantic escapades for days together, it is surprising that an enlightened journalist like him is endowed with no conscience. In the current gizmo savvy society where we find ourselves talking about women empowerment, it is sickening that a significant section of the viewer base has been supporting such romantic flings. It is sad to think that a principled person with professional reputation behave thus. Wonder, what would the lesser known ones be doing. My request, please see to it that the storyline takes a healthy turn. Though, I wonder if my request would be of any effect because majority of the viewers are relishing on his clandestine antics. But it hurts my sensibility as a woman

what i hate about the serial ma is the way the director totally denigrates the maternal instinct in women while claiming to celebrate it.i just want to ask the director and the scriptwriter :can a woman ever really disown a child she has claimed as her own?pratima mukherjee does it repeatedly.let me tell the directors it is simply not possible for a woman to deny her maternal self to any child who chooses to call her mother.i have a sister who has adopted a baby girl a few years back and she did not have to rationalize her feelings of maternity from day one.jhilik is also an absurd creation.i understand her need to find surrogate mothers and her desire to be accepted .but now she is a grown girl and there is not a jot of angst or rebellion against the mother and the director is content to let her character remain this snivelling girl unable to accept her destiny and move on.please see the movies the deep end of the ocean or losing isaiah for a more mature handling of the theme of the loss of a child.what baffles me most is that so many experienced tv artists are not advising the director to move on.for god's sake even oliver twist 's worrie came to an end.
p.s.please advice costume designer to rethink fulki's wardrobe.a mean, malicious girl does not have to have a vulgar dress sense just to make the viewer realize her intentions are not noble ones!

I think the serial should end immediately otherwise no one will believe on the word "MAA" who can smell her childs' immotion... the serial is going to an ridiculus stage..

I am completely agree with these comments. The tv serial MAA now become a bogus and irritating day by day. There is no sign of ending. I can't understand what the director wants to do. Everything has a limit. In every episode Jhilik and pratima will cry like "bherakanna". Pulki will give some dose to Jhilik and Jhilik will digest it with her eye-water-tank. This type of happenings have been shown day by day, month by month, year by year, episode by episode. I think this is the time to push the director from behind to move forward.

I don't see this serial since May, 12, reasons are well analysed & described in the above letters. So I am really not concerned, what's going on. (And, after reading the reviews, I feel myself extremely lucky to skip this HORRIBLE never ending serial).

But the tragedy is elsewhere. Last week, one small girl of 10 urgued with me, as I advised her to be good & honest.

She replied, "Dadu, if I follow your advice, I will suffer like Jhilik (she need not explain, who is Jhilik, as I was a regular viewer of the MA serial). She further told me, It would be better to be like Fulki to become successful in life.

Any comment from the Serial makers !!!

I fully Agree with you. the serial depicts no morality. A girl who has suffered so much through out the life is suffering till date and fulki who has played tricks and has lead a happy life is still playing the same tricks and is winning and leading her life happily. It is known, that we learn from our past experiences, but in this serial is showing just the opposite. How can a girl be misunderstood so much. This serial should be stopped. It is not teaching the society anything. its is showing that evil wins over goodness. Why is jhilik not opening her mouth. Just for the heck of earning money from the show why is all this kind of shows being broadcasted which is teaching nothing other than being cruel and ruthless. This serial is a scrap and should be stopped.

The comments above are very correct. Here I will add only one thing that now Jhilil will like Sita Devi of Ramayana, pray to earth "Oh Ma, please open your arms and give me place".

chalo paltai from star jalsa to other channels

Dear my Fellow Viewers,
This mail is addressed to you all, as it is useless to write anything to Ma-Serial Makers or Star Jalsa.

Initially, I was a regular viewer, but due to the absurd, illogical, brainless, idiotic story line & direction, .I stopped seeing this serial for last several months. And I feel happy.

In fact, I really don't know, what's going on, but reading your complaints, I think that my decision to skip the serial was correct.

While surfing the channels, I found a small clip that Jhilik is getting married on 28th July, but probably Fulki tries to kill Jhilik by fire.
Apparently, it appears that Fulki will be caught redhanded & Jhilik's identity will be revealed. If it ends like that, at least i as well all of you will be happy to see an happy ending..

But from my earlier experiences, I am afraid that, I may be wrong. This serial maker can do anything to extend the serial further, as they are least bothered to make another twist by absurd & illogical storyline.

complaint is fully justified. it is very bad story and worst direction, why you dont consider the cruelity of fulky, pishi, fuky's so called mother and worst acting of mrs. mukherjee- their bad acting roles affects the minds and health.we are from delhi and we have decided not to view this worst serial- just intolerable.

I am Bangladesh Citizen, all of my family members view Maa Serial of Star Jalsha. Maa serial is the no. one nonsense type story in the world. Please stop Maa serial otherwise we Bangladeshi people will stop to view Sart Jalsha. Even we will cacell Star Jalsha chaneel from the COAB (Cable operators of Bangladesh). From my and all the known people's point of view that if possible it will be better to view any worst/unsocialc story instead of Maa serial.

the producer, the director, the story writer, the script writer, the actors and the technicians, all the members of the worst "MAA" serial, can you stop your work at this moment, please?? i'm requesting star jalsa to stop the most bogus serial that we've ever seen.

It is really humiliating to seat in front of this serial now a days as it becomes non-ending and Director is trying to stretch the show introducing new new twist in the blend and in this way, the serial is loosing its original fragrance. Please Please Please Please realize that time has already crossed to make an end to it, Personally speaking, I was a very great fan of this serial, but due to this snake ladder situation in one's life make me boar and forced me to put this comment. To director sir, please be sensible and have a logical end to it, so that viewers can have their trust on you intact.
