Star Manpower Company — No service for money paid | |||
I received the no. of Star Manpower Agency thru Just Dial. I contacted them on May 18th/2010. they committed that maid will be provided within 3 working days, and in case I'm not satisfied with their services, I'd get the registration amt back. The initial talks by their staff were so cordial, called me every two hours to check when they should sent their executive for the registration. I paid the registration amt of Rs.2500/- by cash on May 19th. On May 21st I was too impressed with them when they told me that the maid is ready, her police verification is over, and wld join the next day. Since I did not hear fm them the next day, I called Star and they said that the proposed maid's mom was sick, and so will join the following day. This went on... Fed up, on June 16th 2010, I called them for a refund. Mr.Rajesh ( so called owner) admitted that they were not able to service me, and promised that the refund cheque will reach home the third day. (Impressed again!!) From then on, I'm calling them daily... spoke to Kavita, Arti, Sonali, Mahalaxmi, Jyoti, Sushil,....god knows if they r actually employees or were just changing names. Today, 20th July, they've stopped picking up my calls. Pl. help to get my refund. Also, I would like to ensure that no one is duped by them henceforth. Was this information helpful? | |||

Star Manpower — No Refund
Our company registered with Star Manpower in the last week of Nov.2010, after getting call from Reshma (So called executive). The company promised to arrange for a maid within 3-4 days of registration. We paid 3500/- in cash for 1 year registration, but we never knew that the company's main line of business is to earn money by looting people in the name of manpoer services. Inspite of giving daily calls to Suraj, who some time calls himself the owner and somtimes he says that he is an employee, the company has not refunded money. They are frauds, the executives calls 2 to 3 times in a day before u register with them and after registration (paying money) they never bother to call once and even dont give refund.I would request u to do the necessary as they are looting the innocents who are not aware about their "real business"
