Dear sir I am apply card at card to card at 21st may 5th june I received a refrence no[protected] then I mail to sbi card and nodal desk. At 3rd july sight says declined. I qution to executive that why my application declined he says your name is in cibil at same day I finace a bike to bank giving finace but why sbi nodal desk and coustmer care told lie amit kalra not response me gurmeet kaur and other executives thanks. I have applied for an SBI credit and card and this is my first credit card application.Two rounds of verification was over and when I checked the status online it is showing as " We regret to inform you that your SBI Card Application could not be processed since it does not meet our policy. We thank you for your time ".I would like to know the reason of why my application could not be processed.My application number is[protected].Since this is my first credit card and I have been always ontime with my payments on other loans which I have taken, I would like to know the reason.

SBI Credit Card — Refusal to issue credit card

In two years I was approached some body from SBI Credit card with a request to apply for SBI CREDIT CARD. At that time I told him I have a credit card of another bank with substantial amount and I dont require another one. But he told since I was a SBI official, I should opt for SBI CREDIT CARD. On his request I applied and cancelled my other bank's credit card.But with my utter dismay, I found thai SBI CRDEDIT CARD issuing authority had refused to issue a card to me on the ground that I didnot fulfil criteria. I dont know what credit I did not fulfil. They have not the courtsey to send me a letterof regret but informed through SMS. However, although a lodged a complaint at that time, as usual no reply was received by me. Recently, when I visited nearest SBI branch for my transactions and updatation of my SB Pass Book, another feloow approached me after having seeing my balance in my account to apply for a SBI CREDIT CARD. I explained to him my previous experience and refused to apply. But he was insisting and he even came to my residence. I told him that Iam not interested in SBI CREDIT CARD because I have again got a credit card of some other reputed bank. But he was insisting that this time my proposal will not be rejected. Since he came to my house, I reluctantly signed the application form with all relevent documents. But as usual this time also my application was turned down and informed through SMS. Is it fun? Am I begger? I have got more than Rs 22 lacs as term deposit and more than Rs 3lacs in SB a/c in SBI. Iam not hankering for mere Rs 30, 000/- credit limit. You have got my SB A/c number and if I defaulted in paying back you could have taken an undertaking tto recover the amount by debit to my SB a/c. I feel humiliated. This sort humiliation should not metted to any customer and specially to a retired bank employee. This is insulting. I know no action would be taken on this complaint as before. But I would request you to specify the point/objections on which ground somebody's apllication is rejected in future. I also request you to dispaly this complain on your website so that people will know whether to apply or not.

SBI Credit Card — Card Declined

I am using SBI Credit card from the last one and half year.I am paying the utilized amount with out fail.But recently after shopping i found that the card was declined.with out intimating me how they have declined my card.I called to call center and they said that due to decession taken by the committe they have stopped transaction my card.

Similar experience by me many times happend (almost 5 times so far) and got rejected without any reason.
Many at times we give respect to the SBI person who calls directly from the bank, specifically knowing the reason, but invariably they go back and never confirm what is the real issue.

Can the SBI officials lookinto this matter very carefully before calling our cell numbers for any credit card ? Thanks.

I got a message from SBI saying that the credit card has been declined for internal reasons. Can you guys be more specific on why it was rejected. I tried contacting various persons who processed my application and did not get proper response from anyone till now.

My sbi credi card application waj rejected twice . I have salary account in sbi and also have other banks credit card... Most of the banks offerd me. Credit on appliction but the sbi has special policy only to collect data.. from usee i dont understand under what policy they rejected my application.. my application ref number is[protected]

I applied for sbi credit card in 2nd dec17 and i check my application status in 13dec 17 and show me this status Congratulations! Your SBI Card application has been approved. Your SBI Card will be delivered to your mailing address within the next 10 working days.but yesterday i call customer care they says rejected with internal reason. But today i checked in sbi card.com is showing approved. Pls help me

several time i got this message. i understand that i own a card against FD. may be this is the reason
My SBI debit card which was active since 2014 was declined yesterday for no reason. My PIN was correct and I have sufficient balance in my account.

I got this massage today I didn’t understood why they have rejected can you please help me in this regard
