Dear Sirs,
I ordered from Switzerland at the begining of March 2010 400 book's copies for 3 projetcs (1200 books) at Sterling Publishers for a first delivery time 10 days later as agreed.
At the end of March, no books, 50% payment in advance, I had to ask each day per mail or phone what happened. No answer, always someting's wrong....
An Indian friend helpt me from April because only when he called them, they agreed to answer. At the end of April, the 1200 books arrived.
400 books form 1 project have so MANY defaults that I took pictures and sent them to Sterling. They answered it was normal !!!
But the half payment was already made fo them.
Now I can not sell all these 400 books and Sterling do not suggest me to change them with a QUALITY books : the line is breaking when you just open the books for ALL the books, 3 different green colors for the same cover (only 13 with the good green reference), several pictures printed on the same page, stickers' colors too dull.
Moreover they charged me 3,000 USD for the freight because they were so late that I had to recieve my books for an important exhibition in Genave as I informed them at the begining of March !!!
I was always asking for a REAL sample that Sterling refused me to send, now I have bad colors, bad quality and no way to sell my books.
Would you please help me ?
I must print all my books for this project with another printer to honor all my orders but I want to be pay back by Sterling for these bad quality books.
