[Resolved] Sun Direct — Cheating on package / activation | |||
Complaint ref no. - [protected] My name is Himanshu Ojha & I got Sun direct DTH installed on Friday, 26-Mar-10. I opted for Hindi Basic & Murcury plus package & paid the distributor an amount of Rs 2100 upfront for four months. I was told that hindi basic is on & it will take one hour for add on package to be on. (This was told on Friday, 26-Mar-10 evening). Today is Monday, 29-Mar-10 & it has still not been on. In fact, th basic package has also stopped & nothing is coming on TV. I have been calling distributor for three days but he is ignoring my calls. Today over phone he informed me that I will not get murcury plus as I need to pay extra for that. He has not even given me the receipt for my payment. I am harrased & have no other option to go to consumer court. The details of distributor is - Ranga Agencies, New No. 279/9, Jawahar Colony, 4th Avenue, Anna Nagar, Chennai - 600040. I got a Specil offer on sundirect DTH for more than 120 days deactive customers, for 1 [protected]@999/-.I paid Rs.1100/-(incuding tax) but i was activated in different plan when i am communicating to your costomer care they are not responding, please do the need full, details given below,
