This is heads up for all who would like to purchase SUN Direct. DON'T BUY SUN DIRECT DTH service. I have never seen such a worst service. I logged a complaint for bad reception for few channels and no action was taken from their side to rectify the issue. Every time I call customer care, they tell me to reinsert the Line-In cable and perform and manual scan. None of these options resolve the issue though. Iam fed up calling them and have decided to change my DTH service provider. They will never send their Technicians to your house to rectify the problem. Total waste of money

Address to the top managment SUN DIRECT DTH serice provider

I have been chasing for the solving of my problme since Aug in writing before that I contacted at customer care but no action taken so fat towrds solving the problem - since last 5 days i have been reciving call from differenet no stating that problme will be solved within today - in today call i have been told that i have to pay INR 200 then this problme will be solved

Top managment can check all crosspoundece at thier email id [protected]@sundirect.in

Can I except reply and action from the top managment of sun direct??

I do not hope to get the reply sun direct top managment alos but till trying my best before going to take further action

Sun Direct — Worst Service I never seen before

I just purchase "Neo Cricket" pack from sundirect website, It's activated immediately.But' In the List menu i never find the name of Neo Cricket.So, I just made a call to it's customer care and explained my situation.the girl from there side said,your dish must be re alligned from sundirect technicians.But, You need to instruct me before i am going to purchse the pack, asked by me.She told, "We instruct you, If you made a call to us before you purchase it"....again i asked her..why i need to called you..Instead of it..You may display a prior message in your wesite. she didn't want to answer this type of questions.

I said to her.."leave it..Is it possible to refund my money.."

She old.."No..It's not possible.."
again.."Why we pay our money for not given services..?" asked by me..
Finally she said.." It's your mistake..we are not responsible for it.."

This is the way they treat a customer..
SUN DIRECT service is really worst, I have tried calling to customer care & teh nodal offices no response. Its really not good to go for sundirect.
Dear Sir, I purchased SUN DTH of telugu basic pack for six months on 19 Apr 2010. My subscription card No is [protected]R. I am not receivng any channel except free to air channels since Jul 2010. I approached the dealer for No of times and compained in custumer care. My complaint Numbers are given below.

[protected] When ever I comlain about my problem every time they reply that our technician will come soon and rectify the problem. But till date none of them came to rectify the problem. Now we are getting only one message on our TV scree that due to satiliete direction change, your dish is to be re-aligned. and this will be done free of cost by our technicians. But none of them came till date sinc Jul 2010. This created too many problems in our home, i.e, lack of entertainment, news, kids programs and favourate serials. In veiwe of the above may I request you to solve the problem through your forum. Instruct the sun DTH to rectify the problem at the earliest otherwise refund the amount and take thair equipment back, so that I can choose another DTH service provider. . I shall be evere grate full to you sir. Thanking you in anticipation.
Talking to Customer Care of Sun Direct is worst.

They do not knw how to treat customers.

All my radio channels are missing after the so called realignment.

Some channels are coming, some are not comionggggg

Sir my name is karthik godachi I am using Sun direct from 3 years starting 1 year your service is good but this 2 years your retailers & Service people are not take care of Dharwad people. Suwarna channel is not accessible it is blocked so some setting do on the set up box so we give compleant to the service people on hubli 2 weeks they cant attend the call so please Tel me how we use your product plese take care of this complent and take action for it
I am using your sundirect for the past two years. Last 5th(05.10.2010) your company representive came and realignment made in my box. After that we are not able to see any channels except Kaligar Tv and DD channels. For that I made complaint with your customer care centre and Your representive office Kovai Direct nearly 7 or 8 times. But till date no reply from your end.

Recently sun DTH service is moved to another sattilite, in order to continue DTH services, sun direct has changing the dish alinment to the customers.

i called to the callcenter for more than 50 times and every time they are taking details and no one came for dish alinment.

even they are not responding to the mails .

even the nodal office s are also not responding

event the chenni office is alos not resoponding.

really the service is pathatic.

do go for sundirect .

Many channels including Sun Music, Kalaignar TV, Jayaplus, RajTV and paid channels like Star Movies are not available for the past (nearly) two months. On 23-10-10, I rang to local dealer in [protected] they demanded Rs100 to adjust the dish.When I told about your ads that the service is free, They asked to dial to[protected]. I did so and Iam told that the technician will come in 4 days. Then I have sent U e-mails on 5th Nov.and so on.Also spoke to Ur customer care in [protected] many times. Till this date nobody came despite repeated request thro' phone, and I am unable to watch the channels for which I am paying that too in this festive times. Am I not ashamed of your service.What i[censored] charge for some channels and not providing any service to witness them. I[censored] try to upgrade and the dish has to be readjusted means, arrange for automatic readjustment of the dish without seeking for requisition from the customer. I am not happy that it is not complied with even if it is requested repeatedly. Iam much annoyed by this so called service.
I received email asking me to tell my smart card num. Wont U see it is given in every correspondence at the top. Ur attendents do not know the diff between the smartcard num and contact num.
Your service attendence is worst. Further I would like U to send some special technician to see how worst the dish has been installed. The installation is intact. If it is not rectified soon I will publish the photo o[censored]r worst installation in the web.Whatever may be, cant you ensure uninterrupted provision of service ?
Whether I have choosen and paid for to suffer with Your faulty and interrupted service that too in a weekend. I repent.

This is what the company is saying. But for the past 2 months we are not getting 80% of the channels. We called up the agency people each and every day. But no one came and repaired it. after 2 months last week a guy came to repair it. But he made it worse and now we dont have any channels. He charged us RS 200/- and left the place. Then we traveled to the Sun Direct agency office 'MATHA Communication' at Chalakudy, Kerala, which is the nearest agency to our house. They replaced the dish and set top box.

But they couldn't do it properly and we didn't get any channels even after that. We tried calling them. But now they are saying us to contact the agency and ask for replacement. And we have to give them 250Rs as the charge.

I am having the same kind of BAD Experience.

SUN's Cutomer CARE Department[protected] is not doing their services well, please close that department.

My DTH is not working since last 3 months and no one is taking care. I called up Customer Care[protected]. I talked to Divya and then her Senior Divyanjali but both of them were unable to resolve my query that in how many days my DTH Services will started working. SUN DTH Customer Care Services are super BAD and I would say pathetic. The CUSTOMER Service people are good for nothing. First of all their number remains continuously busy and if you are lucky, get a chance to speak with some one then they can't give you any satisfactory answer. I am completely fed up from DTH Services, specially with CUSTOMER CARE People and want to disconnect the SUN DTH. Please let me know the procedure of enabling my DTH Services or disconnection procedure.

Sun Direct — No technicians are coming to adjust satellite

I have lodged a complaint on november 30 2010 in sun direct customer care but still now no actions have been taken by sun direct DTH.
Require solution for your problem.

I recharged my account on 19/12/2010 for Rs.266 (3 month subscription and got it activated on the same day after calling customer care) but i was not able to watch any channels after 21/12/2011 as i received a message in the Info channel stating that Sun Direct has moved to a new satellite and hence an engineer would come to adjust the dish as per the new satellite. So i made a complaint through the customer care after few days and the customer care executive told that soon a technician would come to align the dish. I waiter for over a week and called them again and again they took the complaint again and again. By now i really got frustrated and called customer care, this time i wanted an answer as when the technician would come. This time the technician gave a phone number of local technician to contact. I called to the number provided and was told that a technician would come in 2 days.

A technician (from Zig Zag DTH Solution) came after 2 months (i.e. on 15/02/2011) and changed the dish alignment and he also provided me a bill for Rs.75 the service (i still have the bill). He told me that all migrations were already over and so he is charging me for the dish alignment. Also he told that my subscription would be extended since its down for 2 months. So again i made a complaint through the customer care and the executive said that many other people have requested for the extend the subscription. So i waited for so long but still my subscription was not extended.

When SUN Direct Migrated to new Satellite it is their duty to align the Dish free of cost. Does Sun Direct neglect its customers ???? I strongly recommend people not to buy SUN DTH as they ado not care for their customers.
Forgot to mention that still my Subscription was not extended.
