[Resolved] Tata Consultancy Services — Asked to resign after background check | |||
Hi, This post is in regards to my wife's resignation from TCS dated 24th October 2012. She was working with company xxx from January 2011. In July 2012 she faced severe health problem and had to take couple of months rest as per doctor's advice. Meanwhile, she was interviewed and selected by TCS. She got a selection letter from TCS on 20 September 2012 and had to finish filling online details as soon as possible as she had to join the project from 25th September. She filled up online details for background check on 23 Sep, mentioning the last day at previous company as 20th September (she still had to get the relieving letter though) and was technically employee of that company. She received relieving letter from previous company on 25 September 2012 but the last day of work in that company is mentioned as 20 July (time when she left for medical leave) After the TCS back ground check was completed, she was called for discussion on 24th October and was asked to resign for this reason. Now, as she did not fake any experience, still she had to face this consequence because of her ex employer negligence. She has been in depression from the time this has happened and it may affect her career very badly. I just wanted to know does TCS not take the actual happenings into consideration before taking any decision? There is no reason or any benefit my wife would get showing 2 months additional experience (considering that her total experience is 5+ years) This is just a loop hole in TCS's back ground check which happens after the employee joins the company and later employee has to suffer. I request you to please look into this issue and try and reconsider this case as it will make or break a person's career. Want to know if anything can be done with this matter! Tata consultancy services is not a dam god, please file case against this company, they are behaving like they can do any thing.The tata son's are dam arrogant and have aasirwad of govt. .But they should also be punished for their negligence.

I applied for my Pan-card in Bhubaneswar on 27/10/2008 but still i did'nt receive any mail or any information regarding this. My contact number is [protected] and presently residing in Pune. I am here by drawn your attention to one of the Fake company that is "Valid Page " that has been run from Ducat Institute, A-43, Sector -16, Noida-201303 . These people will answer all the verification calls for this company from their Noida institute . There is no such company exist . These people provide certificates from bogus companies are quite rampant. Not only are such fake certificates available for a meagre Rs 15, 000 to Rs 20, 000, these bogus companies even have people who answer calls and verify information during background checks.
There are almost most of the employees recruited in TCS in 2010, 2011 and 2012 (at Noida Office ) have been working on this fake company (Valid Page)experience . TCS needs to take an action against them asap otherwise it seems that TCS will be giving motivation to the Fake companies

hi. i had been selected for TCS bangalore think campus. i had been selected on contract basis. i dint even complete 2 weeks. i got a call from consultancy stating i have gaps.
i had backlogs in diploma so i started working instead of sitting at home. later i completed my diploma while working. so to complete it it took extra 3yrs time. But i didnt kept blank. i was working instead of wasting time. due to this silly reason BGC team is not ready to accept me to continue. Before joining you guys should have said me. but this didnt happned. now i am no more employee. i have my personal loan and financial issues. Because of this i have stucked. Is dhis a TCS way. i didnt gave any fake documents. then why is dhis in my curier. TCS us not supporting the employees in right way.

TCS people are putting rules that candidate should not have 2 years gap...so obviously people are approaching fake companies to fill the gap...CTS is better than TCS because they look TALENT rather than gaps etc...CTS CTS CTS is better.
