Tata Docomo — outgoing calls barred (3x), WORST SERVICE EVER

UNIMAGINABLY, BREATHTAKINGLY INCOMPETENT SERVICE!!! UNIMAGINABLY, BREATHTAKINGLY INCOMPETENT COMPANY!!!

Now I see other similar complaints in this forum about outgoing calls being barred-- don't ever get a mobile from tata docomo!

Service starts, then calls are barred. I submit additional documentation to retailer. Service restarts, then calls are barred again. Tata docomo says documents have not been received. Retailer says they have been sent. I have just about given up, then service restarts again, operates for a few more days, then calls are barred again. Tata docomo says documents have not been received!!

What does customer service say? Someone will call you back-- and never does. It is not our responsibility, it is the retailer-- aren't you the service provider that agreed to provide service, that said you'd call back, etc? Customer service reps have an astounding ability to parrot back canned phrases, but apparently no pressure from their employer to actually solve any problems.

What does the law say? Can a company legally accept money for a service and then fail outright to provide it? And have no mechanism for a speedy refund? This sounds like a class-action lawsuit waiting to happen.

What does business sense say? Wouldn't they rather carry revenue-generating outgoing calls rather than just non-revenue-generating incoming ones? OK, I don't mind parking this sim card in a mobile phone to receive calls and using other more reliable services for outgoing ones.

Tata Docomo — OUTGOING CALL SERVICE BARRED AS COMPANY DID NOT RECEIVE DOCUMENTS

DEAR SIR/MADAM,

I purchased a TATA DOCOMO SIM from Goregaon East Mumbai and submitted all the documents like Voter's card photo and lease and lisence copy and electricity bill to the retailer.
The retailer says he has submitted the docs to the company guy who visits his shop to collect docs but company has not received it.There is no co operation from neither the retailer or the customer service team of TATA DOCOMO to get my service restored.
Even i am facing lot many difficulties.

You can always contact the nodal officer, and inform them your problem.
you can reach a Nodal officer at
[protected](MUMBAI).

Even then if they dont response. Pull them in Consumer Court directly. Its the only way to get the compensation OR services from them.
itz the most worst network service ever seen...i bought two sim cards nd both sims blocked witout even an confirmation call...!!!the reason is same as the above ones...please see into this matter!!!
