[Resolved] Tata Docomo — Poor Quality of service, no customer care | |
Dear Sir, I am a subscriber of Tata Docomo (Mob.No.[protected]) for over a month now. There are a number of problems I have been facing since I took this connection. There is call dropping, poor signal strength in main city area, the calls do not connect and problems in sending and receiving SMSs. I have lodged complaints several times on theire help line number 121 but to no avail and to date the problems persist. In a bid to force them to address my compalints I tried to hold payment of their bill, but this also did not work as they started sending me SMS that if bill is not paid the calls will be barred. Since this is the sole connection I have, I had to perforce pay the bill despite my wishes otherwise. However even after payment of the bill as soon as the SMS for call barring was received and confirmation of receipt of payment by the service provider through SMS to my mobile number, I find the calls barred w.e.f. 23.20 hrs of 08th Jan.2010. The service provider has shown total disregard to the hardship to which its customer is being subject due to the poor quality of service and has managed to trap the customer in forcefully subscribing to his service as switching to another service provider is going to be difficult since this mobile number has already been used by me for several other identification and mobile transaction purposes. Now I request you to please take it up with the serivice provider and make them accountable for their tall cliams of service in their advertisements in the media and thereby trapping gullible customers to an other wise reprehensible quality of mobile phone service.
