This is Tushar. I want to bring to notice the harassment and mental agony that has been caused to me by a reputed company like Tata Indicom. I bought a Tata photon connection-[protected] two years back and paid my bills regularly. However,when i requested the buggers sitting in the customer care department to get my connection disconnected in February this year, after paying my January bill, they gave me a complaint number[protected] and said that their representatives will get in touch with me 'shortly'.
That 'shortly' never happened and instead i was sent the complete bill for the month of February, even when i did not use my connection at all. I was ready to clear my dues- from the time i lodged my request for disconnection till the time it took to disconnect my connection, which i assumed would be for a period of 7-10 days, but never got a call from TATA Indicom representatives.
Hence i did not agree to pay the bill. The company kept sending me bills every month till August, and i was harassed by calls from their call centre to pay my bills, with me explaining them everytime the scenario, over and over again. They just won't listen. Then one fine day i got a dubious looking LEGAL NOTICE on behalf of the company, threatening me to a legal cae if i don't clear my bills immediately. I never responded to the mail.
Then a couple of days back, i got a call from someone from Tis Hazari court that my file is with him and i have a date in the court...this is disgusting...Tata Indicom harasses its regular customers, who payed their bills on time with such things. I know there are many people like me who are facing the same situation with this company.
I would like to know if there is any way i can file a complaint/case against the company for harassing me, and many other customers like me.

I paid my bills online through debit card on the tata indicom website. My last bill was paid in January 2011. Will check on the website and see if any reciept is availaible.
