I had problems with the Tata Walky from January 12 and despite many mails, the problem didn't get resolved. Finally in June, I applied for disconnection of the line itself and as per Tata Docomo, the line is disconnected wef June 21st 2012. On 23rd June I went to the main office of Tata around 11 a.m. to surrender the Walky instrument, so that the refund of my initial deposit can be expedited.
On going there the Customer Care directed me to a lady in the instrument Retrieval (IR) dept. for returning the instrument, but on going there, the lady was not at her table. No one knew what time she would come to office and whether she would come at all. So I handed over the instrument to the Customer care table no.7 and asked him to pass it on to the IR dept. but he refused to give the acknowledgement saying it would be sent by the authorised person by courier within 3 working days.
It is more than 10 days and I have not received any acknowledgement from Tata Docomo for the instrument I surrendered on 23rd June 2012. I am afraid without the acknowlegement I will not be in a position to demand the refund of my initial deposit. Was this information helpful? |
