[Resolved]  Tata Docomo — false information on website / plan changed

I recently walked into a Tata Docomo store to get My Family plan (999 monthly rental) after seeing the tariff on their website. So, I submit all the required documents and signup for 999 monthly rental myfamily plan with 4 connections. The in-store official said that it would be done in a few days. Fine, after some time when the numbers were activated I saw the plan was changed to 1999 monthly rental. When asked why did this happen, they said that for 999 family plan, the maximum number of connections was 3.
But in the Tata Docomo website and the in-store official clearly says that for 999 plan the number of connections must be between 2 and 5. And I had applied with 4 connections. After having told this endlessly to the customer care, I gave up.
So, now I end up paying 1999 monthly rental. Clearly, something is wrong on Tata Docomo's side. I am just waiting for 90 days to complete to port out of this deceiving network. Their advertisements about transparency is very misleading. Please do not go to this network.

Tatadocomo — three month tariff plan

i have taken three months tariffs plan on 25 february 2012 at Rs 68 / 30 paise 60 second. but this tariffs plan cosed on 08 april 2012. kindly verify its. our mobile no is [protected]

Here is the summary of all the problems I am facing with your network:

Hello,
I have been problems with this network since the day I joined it. I am writing with very little hope that you will be able to solve the below issues:

1. Name: correct name is - <can't put name here, see the email sent to [protected]@tatadocomo.com>

2. Plan: I applied for Myfamilysmall with 999 rental. Your website and store official say that there could only be maximum of five connections in this plan. Currently, there are only three numbers in my account (9xxxxx3499, 7xxxxx3499 and 784xxxxx99). You still put me on the Myfamilymedium 1999 rental plan. I am not going to pay the extra thousand rupees.

3. Number 9xxxxx3499: It always shows roaming sign over the signal bars even when I am inside the home (chennai) circle. I am sure you will be charging me roaming rates, which is not fair.

4. Numbers 784xxxxx99 and 7xxxxx3499: cannot make outgoing calls. Your customer care executive told me switch on and off the mobile phone. I did that and still I cannot make outgoing calls. They then told me call 59059 to activate the line. I called 59059, it said that I am already an existing customer. I still cannot make any outgoing calls. When calling again to the customer care explaining this issue, they say that the line is active. I do not understand if this is the solution to the problem.

So, it hasn't been even a month since I joined this god forsaken network and I am in a plethora of troubles. Every time I call your customer care they put me on long holds and will not put me across to the supervisor when unable to solve the issue (reference: Shijin - your customer care executive). In the end, I have only one number from which I can make outgoing calls (9xxxxx3499) - with roaming charges on home network. And for this, I will be asked to pay 1999 + taxes.

I hope that you will understand and solve my issues (I must be mad). If not, all I can do is wait for the 90 days to complete and port out.
