Please note that I Smt Malabika Biswas during June 2011 ported my Vodafone postpaid number [protected] to TATA DOCOMO Service under IDBI CUG Postpaid plan having rental Rs. 45.
Since, July 2011 till April 2012, I have cleared all outstanding / billed amounts in time without fail.
During the tenure of 9 months when I was using TATA DOCOMO connection, I faced the biggest problem o[censored]navailability of network in the rural places of Bengal (specially in South 24 parganas, Medinipur, Malda, etc.)
My company reimburses me the bill amount and this connection is only for my official use. But most of the time when I am out of town for official visits in the rural Bengal, no body from my head/regional office could get in touch with me and hence I am facing a great problem in the office.
Hence, during the month of March 2012, I decided to port my number back to vodafone. After contacting the vodafone officials, a UPN was generated and sent and a lady called me for knowing the reason and I quoted the reason as mentioned above already. When the verfication process was completed & I saw it was already 1 week and there was no response from both the telecom companies, I contacted the Vodafone people & I was communicated by them that it has been communicated by the DOCOMO Official that "My number does not belong to Docomo at all & hence my number could not be ported".
I got in touch with the DOCOMO officials and they requested to do the exercise all over again and there would be no problem. But they again quoted the same reason that "My number does not belong to Docomo at all & hence my number could not be ported".
This is really ridiculous and insulting that even after paying the bills all well in time and without any overdue, a company generating revenue in lieu of mu mobile number, discard it just saying thet the number do not belong to TATA DOCOMO. Then the company is frauding by sending the bills and ackowledging the payments.
I would require an explanation from DOCOMO that on what basis such a rejection reason has been quoted and if my job is being hampered for such silly reasons then I would like DOCOMO to give a justification for the same at the earliest.
