[Resolved] Tata DoCoMo Prepaid Mobile Service — Lack of transparency and amount charged on value added service without explicit consent | |||
I am your Tata DOCOMO CDMA customer with mobile number [protected] and I have a complaint as mentioned below: I had made a recharge of data pack on April 15, 2012 for Rs. 95 having a validity of 30 days and free internet data usage of 4.50 GB. When I have done the recharge for data card service, I have received the confirmation SMS saying that the recharge is successful with free data usage of 4.50 GB without any restrictions mentioned in the SMS. I used this service on the same day for 3 to 4 hours and I regularly checked if it is not reducing my core / regular balance and in fact there was no reduction from core balance. The next day I was surprised to see that my core balance was zero and an amount of Rs. 98 was deducted in lump sum. I made a recharge of Rs 300 on April 16, 2012 at Tata DOCOMO showroom at Madhapur, Hyderabad and surprisingly again an amount of Rs 100 (approx.) was deducted from my core balance. So a total amount of Rs 200 (approx..) was deducted. If I have already subscribed for data pack with free usage of 4.50 GB then how can they deduct the amount from my core balance and such huge data usage charges. I have already lodged a complaint on April 16, 2012 with reference number COM[protected] but did not get any resolution. Was this information helpful? | |||
