[Resolved] Tata DoCoMo / Prepaid — value added service without permission | |||
I am using the TATA DOCOMO prepaid simcard (Cell No. [protected]). On[protected] the company peoples called me and asked me, am I want to set caller tunes. I said no I don't want. But within 10 minutes they activated some caller tunes and charged Rs. 120/- and sent an SMS. They have said in the sms that I can deactivate the caller tune by calling 155223. When I called them, they instructed me to press few numbers. In few minutes I got a message that the caller tune is deactivated. But the charge was not re-credited in my balance. As per the TRAI regulations the mobile operators should not give value added services without permission of the consumer. The deactivation procedure is also not easy. Please take necessary action. V. Same problem faced by me.. without customer willingness they should not activate or provide worthless offers. Once after deactivation the amount should get refunded to the customer.
