[Resolved]  Tata Docomo — TATA cheated on the bill

Hi ,

I bought a Docomo number to use, I have not activated any value added services while buying the connection. I have used the number for two days and connection was terminated saying my unbilled amount is 2500 Rs, spoke to customer care and they informed that i have activated 3G and the unbilled amount is for that and asked me to pay that 2500 and connection will be active again. I called the agent who gave me the connection and he confirmed that 3G is not active and then i argued with him saying why i need to pay 2500 if 3G is not active and i never requested for 3G connection at all. I have requested the customer care to activate 2G which 99 Rs plan. Now TATA says my outstanding amount on this number is 6100 Rs and i hardly used the number.

Spoke to one manager in Docomo customer care and he says 3G will be active by default in postpaid connections and I was surprised to hear that, i asked which provider does that and without my request how can you activate 3G and he argued for some time and he disconnected the call. Finally got irritated and i have stopped calling them for this and now after two years someone called me and said that they have filled a case in Delhi court and if i don't clear the bill with in an hour I have to go to Delhi court and pay 75000 Rs penalty and then continue the case. I am not sure how can TATA ask me penalty when they have cheated the customer, I am the one who has to file a case and they filled it asking me to pay.

TATA Docomo has cheated me and now they started threatening me saying you don't respond within an hour Police will come to your house and they will take you and they speak all kinds of bad words in Kannada.

Please let me know what i have to do now, i am complaining about TATA Docomo cheating me in regards to this number bill and how can someone pay 6100 for using the connection for two days.

TATA DOCOMO service is sad and on top of it they do all these kinds of things.

Please let me how do I proceed further or do i need to file a case in the court against TATA.

Tata Docomo — Cheating and threatening customer for wrong reasons

I was a customer of tata docomo (post paid mob no :[protected]) in Bangalore in 2010.I left Bangalore and moved to Mumbai in Sept 2010.After reaching Mumbai , in 1st week of oct I paid the bill for the last month ( ref dated:[protected] PUR/TATA DOCOMO-BILLD/MUMBAI/231010/18:19 590.00 by nettransfer by axis bank )and request customer care for disconnection of mu number and send me the amount to my present number by sms and how to pay it. Again I sent mail to docomo ( see attached pic) stating that pl send me the amount due and stop my connection.But I got the reply from customer care by email( as attached).Further I got no communication for Tata docomo since 8 months.All on a sudden Last day I got the email stating that it is a legal notice and your due is Rs ......".

This is just a torture and against human right for any company for this type of activity.
I take your kind attention so that the misuse of power should not be done.Till date I am ready for the due payment as of my sending email to customer care ( dated 23rd oct 2010, As I have no recording of the verbal communication between the customer care and me).
