[Resolved]  TATA indica xeta GLS — fuel pump

i am having indica xeta gls(petrol)2006 model. it has a total running of 14000km till date.engine is fine but milage is very low in a.c.(10km/lit). recently we found strong petrol smell coming inside the cabin.i went to tata motors dealer and was said that fuel pump is leaking and it needs to be replaced by a new one ,costing around 9000.00. So,i could not understand the reason for this leakage in a almost new car.
