[Resolved] Tata Indicom — Delay in providing Mobile number portability | |||
I wanted to shift a mobile number from vodafone to Tata indicom using Mobile number Portability, they asked me to generate UPC code which i generated and gave them on 08/02/2011, they promised me that MNP requests are entertained within 7 working days and UPC code generated is valid for 15 days, however till today that is 03/03/2011 my MNP is not activated and everytime i go to their store at Gurukul Road Ahmedabad, the store incharge Mr. Dutta asks me to come after 2 days, i even had a talk with Mr. Chandresh Rathod their team leader and One Mr. Varad Chhaya, a senior officer in the company but everytime everyone says that although there is no problem in any of my documents and application but it will take some more time. All my efforts have been in vain as nobody in Tata indicom is ready to solve the issue and now i even fear that UPC(a one time code) code's validity would have expired. Please help.. TATA Indicom — Delay in Upgradation
Sir,Delay in up gradation from Photon to Photon+
I wish to bring to your notice that I have been a loyal customer of all TATA products for a very long time staring from my phone to my car but the treatment that I receive in return for all the loyalty that I show to the company it is only giving me a step motherly way of treatment.
I had been using the Photon mobile internet connection for almost a year now and recently I decided to upgrade to the photon+ version so when I contacted the customer service I was asked to go to the showroom (address given below)

I was also told that they would take my old modem for thousand rupees and an additional 2500/- will be charged towards the new modem.
I visited the showroom on 23.09.2009 7.15 pm and was just made to wait by the employees there at the showrrom for about 20 minutes while they were happily munching a pack of chips and one Mr.Jebastin there took my modem and took a note of some number from it then I was told that they would be sending a mail to the head office and that I would be getting a call the next morning confirming the same.
Ø They never bothered to call me to update me on the status and when I called they just replied that they have not received any confirmation mail from the Head office
Ø From then on I have been patiently following it up with the executives there but all I get in return is the same answer “ Sir, We shall call and update you”
Ø They did not even call me once !!!!! – I think it is their duty to atleast keep the customer informed about the proceedings rather than me giving them a call thrice every day.
Ø Today is 28.09.2009 – Four days have passed since I had applied and still that mail has not come from the head office.
If this is the kind of treatment that is being given to the existing customers then I really wonder how the new customers would feel about the same. It would not take me minutes to terminate the current usage and avail for some other service provider but for being loyal to the company this is what I get in return!!!
I really don’t know if this mail will reach the right person but I feel it is my duty to let you know what a poor show your employees have put up
