Tata Indicom Broadband — NOT REFUNDING 4 MONTHS ADVANCE AFTER TERMINATION | |
I had taken a 256kbps unlimited connection with TATA INDICOM BROADBAND last year in the Month of May at Pimpri, Pune. I paid up an advance rental for a period of four months (more than Rs4000). However I had to make a shift of my location to another place (not very fat just 2kilometres from previous place).I asked for a change of location and wanted that the company provide me net connection at my new place. However even after 1 month they said that my new area was not FEASIBLE. I asked for a termination of plan in July as my account as I dearly required a net connection at my new premises. I made a phone call to their customer service(call centre) and over there they informed me that they would refund my four month's advance . I returned their ROUTER and MODEM too. However till date I have not received my refund. I mailed them about it yesterday. Today a call came from tata indicom in the afternoon saying that ADVANCE RENTAL IS NOT REFUNDED and only INSTALATION CHARGES ARE REFUNDED.Since I did not pay any installation charge they will not refund my amount. The truth is that the amount I paid for advance rental was more Rs4000 and the security deposit is only Rs1000/- What to do? Was this information helpful? | |

TATA Indicom — Refund after termination
I terminated my broadband subscription with Tata Indicom on 20th October 2008. I am supposed to receive a refund of Rs.1500/= Inspite of repeated calls and complaints, I've still not received my refund. Please do the needful.Regards,

Tata Indicom Broadband — Advance rental not refunded

I am from Mumbai. I took the following plan from Tata Indicom on June 2nd 2010.
Plan name: New Infinity 500
Connection: Wi-Max post paid
Address: Swapnalok Towers
Malad East
Mumbai
I made an upfront payment of Rs 14560/- for 12 months via cheque
The connection was activated on June 3rd, and within the first one week I had to make several calls to report connectivity issues.
I was unable to get the required uninterrupted Internet service through the Wi-Max box and hence asked for the connection to be terminated.
The connection was terminated on Jul 13 after Tata Indicom's technical team came to my place and verified that the Wi-Max box indeed wasn’t able to give consistently stable internet connection.
Given that the connection was terminated because of technical problems with Tata Indicom’s internet setup in my house, I think I should be given a full refund of Rs 14560/-. It has been more than 90 days since I have been following up with their customer care about this but the case is still not closed. Your early attention in this regard would be highly appreciated.

Tata Indicom Broadband — Not refunding the duplicate payment
During my december month bill payment for broadband thro online, by mistake i have made 2 times for Rs 1548.Immediatley i had sent mail to Tataindicom to refund the money, inspite of mail, everymonth bills are being adjusted against the excess amount without my consent.
Generally my monthly payment may be around Rs475 only. I had sent lot of reminder mails but no reply from them.
IRCTC -i[censored] made any excess payment and repay the same within 24 hrs. I don't know what is the problem for TATA indicom to repay the same .I would like to take this forum take up this matter with Tata indicm -my user name: [protected]@eth.net
