[Resolved] Tata Indicom — TATA Indicom Walky | |
I have registered the above mentioned telephone connection in my Father's name. The primary purpose of buying this phone was for internet, as TATA has a good tariff plans for internet usage (or else I would have easily settled for Reliance). When I took this connection, I was informed that a data cable is required for this phone, which TATA don't supply. I have to procure the data cable from the market. I couldn't get the data cable in market untill last week, as it was out of stock (as informed by the dealer/distributor). Somehow, I managed to get the data cable on 12/08/2008. I tried using the installation CD. The CD was corrupt. I had to go back to the dealer/distributor to replace the CD. I got the CD replaced. I completed the installation, however, I was not able to connect to the internet, as a new error would pop up everytime I use internet. I called up the customer care on 16/08/2008 complaining about the same. A complaint was registered and I was informed that an engineer would come and visit my place within next 12 hours. i got a call from the engineer informing he will visit in the evening. That evening no one turned up. I called up next day at customer care, I was informed that the technical team does not work on Sundays and I will have to wait till Monday. From that day onwards, I have been calling atleast thrice everyday to TATA Indicom Customer Care. I was promised a call back many a times by the engineers and Team Leaders, but many a times this promise was not fullfilled. Still my problem remains unresolved. Was this information helpful? | |

My Name is Haridasan.I am from Kerala. I was using a Tata Indicom Walky LSP 350T model with Pin No:TWLL0029404 having phone number [protected] which was changed as [protected]
This was a prepaid phone and was using for a long time. But suddenly my phone has been disconnected.
I am asking a request for reactivating this phone. I have also other Tata phones and I am proud to be its cutomer. So will Uplease reactivate my Tata Indicom Walky so that I can continue getting its good services

Dear Sir,
We had purchased a GCC Walky connection. The relevant Invoice No is 12008-09/[protected] dated[protected] for Rs. 899 and another one 12008-09/[protected] dated for Rs. 100/= . The material description given in Invoices are[protected]NIU LG LSP 350T and[protected]GCC Walky7 Coimbatore-(TN).
Mr.E.Murugesh- Team Leader-Sales whose CDMA Mobile No is[protected] whose office address is given as N014. Puliakulam Road, Coimbatore came to Activate the Phone. It did not work. No proper receipt for Rs.1500 cash given by us has been given so far.
As the Phone set did not work, it was taken back by him. He said that he will get a new Phone Instrument with in one day. After that we had contacted his office (Phone No:[protected] and his Cell Phone No many times. So far no new replacement has been given to us.
He is not responding. No body in the above office where this Phone is situated is answering in a responsible manner. Evasive commitments are given and they are not kept up at all.
Meanwhile we got the Phone no as[protected]. We asked for a different number similar to our BSNL Phone and were told that new Phone number allotted is[protected]. We have also received a Bill no[protected] dated[protected] – Account no[protected] dated[protected] for Rs15/=
We sent one of our People to the Pulakulam Office twice, one on 5th and second time on 7th Jan. He was not allowed to meet the Manager in-charge, even after he specifically asked for a meeting.
The situation is that we do not have any Tata Phone with us at present. It is over 3 weeks now. We are dismayed at the cavalier treatment meted out by your people.
We also want to make a point that any Billing and rental should be charged only after a proper activation of the Phone. We should not be asked to pay the above Bill or any period from[protected] until new instrument is installed properly.
We expect proper response or demand that the amount of Rs.1500 given should be returned immediately on receipt this letter, failing which we would be forced to seek proper legal remedy.
