[Resolved]  Tata Indigo Manza — Poor dealer service

The car went for first service and the right headlight was filled with water during the wash. Reason given: No rubber plug on the focusing outlet, which according to the dealer was due to negligence in PDI at factory level before despatch of vehicle. Furthermore the vehicle is giving hardly 10 km/l against a claim of 17.2 km/l and this could not be rectified because the laptop cable was not available with dealer. Dealer said it will come in a day or two and they will get in touch with me. Its more than ten days but there is no info so far. What's worse, the service point is about 15 km out of town and they do not have a pick up or drop facility so the customer has to go personally and waste a whole day each time.

Respected Sir,
We are holding your Indigo GLX car Reg. No. MH-16-N-1111.
Our Office is public Office. Above car is in use of Commissioner for official use. It used 24 hrs for Govt. service. There are duties impossied by ACT.
This car is given for repair to your Dealer Hundekari Motors situated in Ahmendnagar, State:Maharashtra. From two weeks they said that lack of availbility of parts car not repaired.
So Please take necessary Action to repaire car immidiate and action against your locale dealer 'Hundekari Motores Pvt. Ltd.'

I fully agree with you. PDI of TATA are very poor. My manza had problems with indicators, high beam switch, sound from inside the dashboard, at times headlight going completely off, door pading rubbers torn, plastic riverts broken and so on... all these when i picked up the vehicle. The engine malfunction warning came on after 20 km of drive from showroom and i was told it was due to washing pre delivery. When it reappeared after 200 km a component called EGB was changed and i was told that it was a major engine problem.

Think of the agony when you have to take a brand new car after spending 7 lacs to the service stattion 5 times within a month which is located in some god foresaken place outside the city and waste your entire day. But TATA people are not bothered as their sales are still ON.
