[Resolved]  Tata Photon Plus — Legal Notice - or whatever

Hi,

I was using Tata Photon plus for around a year and a half(since 2010). I had a minute based plan which means the longer I use the more I pay. Last year around August End(2011 August), I raised a complaint with the Tata photon plus consumer care stating that my connection is very very slow. It would take 10-15mins to just load a page. And today (02/27/2012), I get a call from the tata photon Network department calling me to inform me that the problem is rectified. they gave me a docket number[protected] and the call was from the number - +91 [protected]. Following this they sent me a message, that my ticket is closed. Funny isnt it? Now let me tell you what happened in the mean time of 7 months!

I followed up continuously with the customer care of Tata Photon to check on about the ticket I raised.Nothing happened.... once they told they would not be able to rectify the slow network issue! Than I got irritated and I stopped using the connection from September 1st week. Than, I got a bill in the middle of September 2011, with a whooping Rs 4500 or something like that. I called up customer care to clarify and ask how I got such an amount. They had no answers. Than finally after me following up on the bill several times and having talk with some customer care manager, I was told they would send me a different bill with half the amount of the current bill. But they sent me the same bill of Rs 4500 again. And I didnt pay.

Now the drama starts. They called me every day 2-3 times to persuade me to make the payment and everytime I would end up telling the whole story of the ticket raised, the customer calls, the different bill, etc... but nothing done. Than finally I got a call from the Legal section of Tata Photon. And funny part is they even had proofs of me using the connection in October 2011! And they after few calls from the legal section, we realized that they were actually talking of some other person with my name. Post that I have not received any calls from the legal section. But, than I got a legal notice in my mail. Now its ridiculous on part of the Tata Photon team. Could you please look back into my payment history... I had never made even late payments... And this time, when its a genuine reason of your network failure, you torture me like hell and send me legal notice. Its utter nonsense!

I would never got for any Tata products again in future and would stop my friends and families too.
