[Resolved]  Tata Photon Plus — Bad Service

Hi,

I am extremely unhappy with the kind of service provided by Tata photon for Borivali, Mumbai and i hope after reading this mail some of the respected responsible gents from TATA would take this matter seriously and bring a justified solution to my request ASAP.


Details are as follows

3.Tarrif plan : photon plus unlimited 5gb @ 950 3.1 mbps
4.Subcribed Date since: 9th june 11

Problems
As stated above the plan subscribed is for 3.1 mbps speed and unfortunately since 7 months the download speed that has been provided is 20kbps. This was only identified when i personally checked the speed as this plan belongs to my sister who is not aware of it technically.
After my investigation with her for timely payment of bills @ 950 /m and usage that has been always minimum less than 5gb. So, I launched an official complaint thru customer care as mentioned below


Complaint Details
1.Complaint launch date 14th jan 12
2.Complaint tracking no[protected] --- (Gentlemen Mr. Chetan Metri, assured to resolve this issue by 17th jan 9.00pm)


Complaint Status
1. On 15th jan 12 (3.10pm) Mr. shivraj pal [protected] (technical team) attended the call and diagnosed it as network problem and assured to forward this issue to their network team.
2. On 16th jan 12 (1.20 pm) i received a call from network team saying that they cant resolve this issue due to tata's internal coverage problem and it would take another 5 to 6 months.
Upon which i asked the gentlemen to change my plan equivalent to the speed that they have been giving so far and to refund the difference of amount for same since subscription. This as per my opinion is merely a fraud. " if you know that you can give the speed of 3.1mb due to your technical coverage reasons then you must have intimated us that you wont be able to deliver the said service and would have left the choice to us to change the plan to lower speed and cost until you come up with the promised speed or allow us to change the service provider".
Further, i have concluded the conversation by saying that my complain remains intact and unresolved and i expect a call from your senior to refund money for unused service and charge us only for the type of service that has been delivered so far.
3. As on today no one has called and i strongly urge to resolve this subject at the earliest possible to avoid further mental harrasement which may lead further escalations & complications.

Tata Photon Plus — bad service

I have a TaTa Photon Plus connection and since July 2010 their service is PATHETIC. If you call their call center, there are who try to tell you what is wrong with your PC without any knowledge of the subject. Finally after several complaints they sent network engineers to my place and ACKNOWLEDGED THEIR NETWORK WAS AT FAULT>>> SO WHAT HAS BEEN THE RESULT ??? ABSOLUTELY BLODDY NOTHING. I GET 10 to 15 DISCONNECTIONS, PATHETIC SPEEDS AND STILL GET BILLED. I DID AN ANNUAL PLAN, GREAT MISTAKE. SO NO RESULT IN SIGHT, THEY CANT DO ANYTHING, YOU ARE FORCED TO SPEND AND TATA GIVES BIG ABOUT CUSTOMER COMMITMENT. DONT MAKE THE MISTAKE OF TATA INDICOM.

Tata Photon Plus — Bad support

Guys please dont go with following link for buying tata photon plus..They r the worst cheater...these guys r just pathetic..they will give u the tata photon plus and will take ur docs for further processing..but after some days u r photon will be nt working reason..these guys not submitted ur doc to the concern department and hence ur photon plus has been blocked due to the documentation issue..

Tata photon has has the worst customer in this whole universe, I was a victim of getting the device online. My device was never activeated and i am now tired of writing mails to customer [protected]@tatatel.com and calling the customer care...
please tell me who, s help me. my photon data card has been blocked and since last one weak i din't get active . i suggest for other people that please dont go for buying tata photon plus.

Hi,

thanks for your response,
however it is not satisfactory as my issue still remains intact, you are charging me for the service that you are not able to provide and as informed by you that it will take another 5-6 months to fix the coverage/speed issue by setting up a new cell site.

So to conclude this subject you have left no option then stopping the bill payment for JAN 2012 and i am awaiting a compensation for the whole period wherein i have paid extra until now. i trust your feedback and will wait till the issue is resolved however the compensation should be adjusted in the tarrifs of the coming months (for slower speed) till the issue is completely resolved
