Tata Photon Plus — IMPROPER BILLING

i purchased tata photon whiz on 2nd jan 2010.i got free usage for a month.but the service was so pathetic.your will unroot your hair but the webpage won't open.the local dealer 'G Keswan' told me that its the network problem for sometime.so i waited but it was not resolved.so he recommended me PHOTON PLUS assuring that it will give a better service.so i changed to PHOTON PLUS around 20th march.the speed was little better. and i got a discount of 700 rupees on depositing the old photon whiz.and i got a month long free usage again. but after a month my connection was stopped and i was told that my bill was pending when i asked to that dealer, he told me that it was my old PHOTON WHIZ bill which i hadn't paid. so i had to pay rupees 725 for that and i got the connection working after so much problems and time.Then i moved back to my home Haryana where the tata photon service wasn't available.so when i moved to Jamnagar(actually i work for airfoce,need to change the places frequently as per the job requirements)i found that my connection was stopped again because my bill was pending and the amount was 3853/-!!!!!!........when i inquired,i found that my old photon whiz connection wasn't closed even after i submitted a written complain for that to the dealer(he asked for that).so i talked to the customer care.....they assured me that my problem will be resolved after i pay the bill......so i got ready to pay the bill but when i looked back at the horrible service they were providing and the most dumb customer care i have ever felt i shivered with fear....so i changed my plan....i decided to not to pay the bill until the problem is resolved....and this was the best decision i made after i got into this TATA INDICOM THING.ahh!! i can't tell how much i was depressed mentally physically and even economically for sure.....please please avoid this damn service.......TATA INDICOM is the worst and costliest internet service.the dealer refused that he got any written application for the closing of my photon whiz account....and since my new photon whiz was on the same account so i got both bills at the same time.....someone else was using my connection and i couldn't do anything except looking at my half inch thick bill......i moved to hyderabad.....talked to the customer care guys their manager but useless they didn't have any data about the other state connection......i was fed up......so i left that service......customer care warned me that i will get legal notice but i was so much tired that i was no more in a mood of listing even the name of this company.....i didn't care.......guys please take care while purchasing any post paid thing....because they can ask you anything in the bill...........

Tata Photon + — Poor Service & Improper Billing

Sir / Madam,

I have taken a new Tata Photon + internet connection in the month of Nov, 2009. They informed me that the 1st month rental will be free. Everything was fine with the connection till it was the time of bill generation. They suddenly blocked my connection with the reason that I have crossed the credit limit. My credit limit is Rs. 2500.00 and the time when they blocked the connection the bill was around Rs. 1800.00. They informed me that as soon as the 75% of the credit limit is reached the connection is barred. They never issued me the internet password to monitor my account usage, I placed repeated number of complaints for a month to no effect so that they can issue me the password. All they did was transfer me from departments to departments & even to the Telegu department even when I don't understand Telegu and never requested for the same.
Anyways, then they inform me that I need to pay Rs. 2345.00 when my bill due was Rs. 1380.00 in order to activate the connection, I was forced to pay such an amount since they would not activate the connection otherwise. I do a lot of work through internet so I was in need of the same & they charged me only to be informed that it will be taken care of in the next bill. The best part is that they still did not send me the bill. The reason as they mention is that the first month we are not supposed to get the bill. Without a bill they ask you to pay & also pay extra in advance for the connection to be activated, They cannot give any explanation on how the bill is so high. I checked it over the phone on a regualar basis and without any reason during the billing period it suddenly jumped over Rs. 1000.00. There is no explanation for any thing.
Further, to add to my worries, the Customer Service for Tata seems to hired from rural areas where they learnt English after they passed Class 12 to get a job. Communicating with them would require another english dictionary since they follow a vocabulary of their own, having their own style of pronounciation of the English Language. I was enquiring about sending an itemised bill the line got disconnected. When I called back they informed me that an itemised bill has been ordered & I will be charged Rs. 25 for the same.
I feel that they are cheating me of my money & definitely other customers. We cant do anything since we purchased the modem for Rs. 3700.00.
I would really be grateful if some steps could be taken against them & at least my voice could be made public so that the customers are aware the kind of services provided before they take a new connection from them.

WORST SERVICE ON EARTH
as i was suppose to leave india as i am getting settled in turkey so a sesponsible citizen i cleared my tataphoton bill and given a application to close my account as now i am in turkey still i ma getting the bill i dont know what to do with that my Tata Indicom Service No [protected].

its a unnecessary pain...
