Tata Swach - Online Order - Damaged Goods Received — Bulb leaks black fluid. No customer service | |||
I purchased a TATA swach filter in Bangalore. It is leaking some black fluid from it. I raised a complaint on 15 august. I was told the replacement would be sent with a technician within 24 hours and max 48 hours. When I called up on 17th, I was told that since 15th was a holiday, the complaint was logged for 16th. This was not informed at the time of logging. Then I was told that since sunday is a holiday, I will get the replacement on Monday evening i.e. 19th evening. This itself exceeds the max processing time. None of the service centre employees connect me to the senior executive, their head office or even give the technicians number or tell us about the Bangalore service centre. We manage to find out where the service centre is and call them up. Although the service centre is 2km from my house, if I go there I am told I will be charged for the replacement since they have not received any replacement mail. They say TATA swatch has to be a home call. If the customer is ready to go to the service centre then why is he stopped? The faulty part is from the company but the public seems more harassed. Is this call centre there just to harass people who buy the product trusting the name of TATA? Should the customer go to consumer court to get a filter fixed? Was this information helpful? | |||
