[Resolved]  Tax Information Network Of Income Tax Department — not accepting Aadhar Card as ID & address proof

Address:Pune, Maharashtra

Applicant have provided Proof of Identity “Aaadhar card”, and proof of address is also “Aaadhar card” for new PAN application at TIN, Baner, Pune.

Applicant is residing on rental address mentioned as “C/o.”in address on Aadhar card. For address proof the same name is mention on electricity bill which is provided along with pan application.
TIN infor team (Mr.Shrirang) not accepting Aadhaar card copy for address proof and ID proof.

They have not processed pan application no.[protected] due to following reasons.
1.Proof Of Identity -No proof attached
2.Proof Of Address -Not in applicants name-Electricity bill

My complaint is why Aadhaar card is not accepting as a address proof and ID proof, however it is clearly mentioned on Aadhaar website www.uidai.gov.in that Aadhaar card no.will serve as a proof of identiy and address anywhere in India.

Even I am planning to correct PAN details of my Father and new PAN for my Mother and what they have is only 'AADHAR CARD', which was allocated after thorough investigation of Identity, eyes, address, etc by Indian govt.

Why is it not implemented/operational yet.?
