[Resolved]  The Mobile Store — Non Receipt of Movie Card and Further Harassment by Customer Care

I am Indranil Sinha and a regular customer of The Mobile Store. On Diwali, this year, I came across an interesting offer from The Mobile Store, wherein the schemes on purchases on mobile phones "promised" cash-back rewards and movie card vouchers free. I made up my mind to avail the offer and decided to buy in a Nokia E-63 on the auspicious occasion of Dhanteras falling on 3rd November. On queries at the toll free customer care number inquiring about the price and the offers running with the particular model (Nokia E-63), I decided in to buy the handset on the same day only.

Ordeal - Part I

On visiting The Mobile Store at District Centre, Janak Puri, New Delhi, in the evening on the same day (3rd November), i bought in a White Nokia E-63 with IMEI number [protected] from the particular store. While the store employees were not particularly interested in providing me the cash back coupon, which I got after much asking, they flatly denied me the movie ticket card voucher. Quoting them, they categorically stated that "My mobile device was not applicable under the movie voucher scheme and the scheme was only applicable on selected few handsets, while my phone was not one of them".
On a reference to an advise from the customer care who had informed me that, I am eligible for the movie card vouchers if I buy a mobile device costing Rs. 7500 or more, they bluntly asked me to go and talk to the customer care only. Albeit, I had made a purchase by then, I was on a losing ground and had to return without the vouchers.

Ordeal - Part II

The next morning brought with it more ordeals wherein, on contacting the customer care to forward a complaint of the same high-handedness, I was advised that I would get a resolution of my problem within 48 hours. The story has been looping itself for the next 15 days till about today wherein the standard responses from the customer care has been that "You would get a response in 24 hours", "A senior would call back within 1 hour", "You would get a resolution within today", and so on.
In the interim, around last week, I got a call from the The Mobile Store head office from Mumbai, who after my troublesome story, promised that my ordeal would be resolved within the next 24 hours, which unfortunately have not completed itself yet.

There goes my Story. Would really appreciate if any action happens on my intimation.
