[Resolved]  The New India Assurance — MEDICLAIM

I have a medi claim policy with New India Assurance policy no 111900/34/11/01/00008432. Their TPA are MDIndia Health Care Service Pvt Ltd. Pune.
My son was hospitalised for Degue fever on 7/9/12 till 12/9/2012. The Claim details were sent on 11/10/2012 to MD India for an amount of Rs 31062.00 (claim ID MDI 398256). The claim amount was settled for an amount of Rs19159.00 on 25/10/2012. When we did not receive the cheque payment of that amount we contacted their head office on 7/11/2012. We were told that they had stopped issuing physical cheques & payments are made by ECS only so we were asked to submit an ECS detail form. We did the needful on the very same day. On our repeated phone calls to their office yielded no response from their end. First they said that they had not received our ECS form, when I provided them with the proof & bombarded their interactive site with around 25 copies of the ECS details they accepted they had indeed received the ECS details and would be forwarding the details to New India Assurance for final payment within four days. When we did not receive the payment we again contacted them & their reply was there was a technical problem and they could not upload our file to New India Assurance it would take some time but were not specific of the time. When we contacted them after seven days they said they had uploaded our file to New India Assurance and would receive our payment within 5 days. When we still did not receive our payment when contacted the reply given was that New India did not have the funds to make the payment & the same would be done shortly.The whole process was being handled by the ground staff headed by one Mr Deepak.
When we contacted them today 27/12/2012 the ground staff Mr Alex started the same old story that they had not received the ECS details when confronted he said there was a technical problem, when questioned more & asked for Mr Deepak or his superiors he refused giving vague answers. Mr Deepak also refused to come on line.
We are here with attaching the photo taken of their inter active site which clearly shows the attitude of MD India. & their cover up operation.
They should be heavily penalized & debarred from being TPA of New India Assurance & others.
