My sister went to this Thomas Cook New Delhi branch at C33 Connaught Place to buy foreign exchange. They have a narrow, dingy flight of stairs as the only way you can get to their office on the first floor. She actually fell on the stairs and fractured her wrist !
When we wrote to Thomas Cook and asked for some help as the accident happened on their premises we were told that the stairs are a common area not used solely by Thomas Cook and they can’t do anything !
This is complete [censored] because -
1. This is the only way you can enter their office, there is no alternate entrance
2. No other company or business uses these stairs as an entrance to their business
3. They lock the stairs at the end of each business day
4. Their cleaner mops and cleans the staircase every day.
So these stairs are very much a part of their premises and even though an accident happened on their premises when a customer was visiting them ! They have just washed their hands off !!
So basically visit them at your own risk !! Was this information helpful? |
