[Resolved] Tneb — Frequent power failure

Dear Sir,

My mom is staying at NO: 27/6 , bharatheswarar colony 2nd street , kodambakkam , chennai-24. Always there is frequent power cuts in the above mentioned area,

For past one week the whole night she was struggling to sleep without power. We called to local EB station , but most of the time the line is engaged or they respond stating they are working on it. You can understand how difficult to be in this hot temperatture without power , this is not one time , this is happening regularly, elder people who are affected by high BP , diabetes , heart patients are the real sufferers due to delay in power restoration.

I request you to please help me in stopping the frequent power failure and help the elders to have good sleep and comfort life.

I live in 403, 20th street, N Block, Lotus coloy, Anna Nagar East. Every day the power goes at 10 PM and comes back only at 6 AM in the morning. All 3 phases go out of power. We keep calling [protected] (Held desk No). But they are not responsible. This type of power suppl is not accepted.

I am living gopalapuram housing colony in tindivanam and paying bill in Mannur electricity board. I am having less than a month old baby at home in this situation daily we are suffering from atleast 6 hours power cut, which is very difficult for me and my baby too. I have tried to contact Electricity Board to log a complaint, but i am not satisfied with the response I got. I am not getting the correct Electricity office phone number to deal the problem. From my house EB office is so far to go in person and give complaint. Please whoever sees this mail, please make necessary action in this regard.

We would like to register our complaint with appropriate authority of TNEB :
1. that we have single phase in our premises.
2. that there is failure of frequent failure of current in a day
3. that always we are surrering in night time, once it failure it use restore only in the
morning about 9 - 9.30
4. that earlier our phase was from Audiappa st. side and after change to Elephant
gate side result of frequently failure.
Therefore, it is requested you to look in to the matter and find the permanent solution and rectify the frequent fault & failure of current.
