Name spelling correction

My name in tneb bill was in wrong spelling . My name in tneb was " bharanikumar ", but my name in adhaar was " bharanikumar k " and my consumer number is "[protected] " . I request you to accept my complain & correct the name in tneb as per the adhaar ....

unauthorized installation of electric poles in private land

Need to edit consumer name

My service connection number is[protected] and in the generated EB invoice, my initial is missing, currently it is "KALAIMANI" and it has to be change to "KALAIMANI S". This name edit is important for updating my other id proof, since it is my new home address, which i need to be update in all proof documents. Kindly resolve this issue and do the needful....

EB box kept in front of gate

Address: NO.79/26 Jawar street, Thirupathi nagar, Kolathur, Chennai - 600 099.

Pls note, in our residence, EB box kept in front of the gate though there is space. we have given a letter to shift regarding this to local Chennai Kolathur office, no action taken yet, now we are struggling to park the car in the premises....

Billing extra amount

In our house we don't use much electricity but we paid more than 2500 every month. when we ask the nearby (tisayanvilai) EB office they are not responding and they shouting without any reason. this septemper we transfer to tirunelveli because of my son treatment . but this month bill also 2712. please help me . i am not in my home and cant pay this much amount .please give me the right solution.

Neutral wire cut in tneb post past 36 days.

Forgot password not working

Hi Sir/Madam,

I tried to login to TNEB website and tried the 'forgot password' option which redirected to a page to enter my consumer number. Upon entering my valid consumer number (or service number), I encountered the below error though my consumer number is valid.
Error: "Invalid Consumer No!"
Please help to reactivate the service and let me know why this is happening all of a sudden even when the correct...

Double payment cons 092556531600

On 5th may Morning, I had paid for consumer number[protected] amount 11408 by scanning upi in TNPDCL website.
Site got closed.
UTR no[protected]
Tried again and paid.
Found amount debited twice.
Raised complaint, no proper reply.
Added screenshot of debit which has to be refunded....

I am writing to bring to your attention a significant issue with my electricity bill for January 2025. My consumer number is [protected], and my registered mobile number is [protected].

The electricity bill for this month is Rs. 1314, which is 10 to 12 times higher than my previous bills. This is an unusual and unexpected increase, as there has been no significant change in the electricity usage in my household.

Key Concerns:
Unusually High Consumption:

The bill indicates a consumption of 422 units, which is inexplicably high given our limited household usage.
Past year consumption records: Even during family functions, our highest consumption was 255 units, and under normal circumstances, it is usually 150–200 units.
Billing Cycle Irregularity:

Until July 2024, readings were taken in odd months only (bi-monthly billing cycle). However, in August 2024, readings were taken unexpectedly, and again in September 2024, causing me to pay a penalty of Rs. 600 in that month.
As I understand, the billing cycle should be every two months. If the billing cycle has changed to monthly, I was not informed. Please clarify why this change occurred and why I was penalized.
Household Equipment Usage:

Appliances:
1 TV, 1 refrigerator, 1 mixer (used rarely, less than 1 hour).
1 small grinder (hardly used).
3 fans (not used due to winter).
Not in Use: Water heaters, iron box, electric stove, washing machine.
There is no reason for the recorded consumption of 422 units.
Request:
I kindly request you to:
Check the accuracy of the current bill and inspect the electricity meter for any faults or errors.
Explain the change in billing cycle and the reasons for the additional penalties imposed.
I would appreciate your immediate attention to this matter. Please let me know if further information is required.

      Low/hight voltage problem

      Address: No:32, Pinjivakkam village, Kadambathur post, Tiruvallur district, 631203. Land mark (Near vinayagar temple)

      Voltage power supply problem in my house and most of electric components are not functioning like fridge, AC, mixi etc. I am facing this more than 3 weeks and also raised an issue through whatsup but no response from TNEB side.

      Kindly check and fix the issue as early as possible....

      Junction Box outside Door Number 24 New, 36 Old knocked down by a Blue Car and lying in water. Likely short circuit if cables and may cause shock for people walking on the road full of water.

        For the past few months. There is regular fluctuation and power card that is one phase or the other gets cut. We have registered a complain with the concerned AE. Last month( letter attached). However, the problem still persist. All our home appliances are breaking down. Kindly look into this matter at the earliest.
