[Resolved]  Tneb — Tamil Nadu Electricity Boards wrong meter reading

Dear sir/madam,

I N.V. Jaganathan, residing at 3/319, 1st floor, 13th street koratur chennai 80. This is regarding the EB person wrote down wrong advance meter reading number which has not come yet and mentioned to pay advance amount and disconnected for nonpayment this happening second time mentioning the same meter reading and to pay minimum amount.

Please kindly let me what action can be taken. it is totally disgusting writing wrong meter reading making us to pay more amount than usage.

Sub: Power failiure in one phase.
Ref : EB Account no.078249 / [protected]

With reference to the above, We bring to your kind notice that we have three phase power supply to my house, but there is no power supply for one phase in this connection we have registered our complaint with our regional electricity board office at KILLKATTALI on Saturday (17.05.2008), But we were not provided any complaint number and they have not taken any action to rectify the power failiure.

We once again request you to take immediate to rectify the power cut problem.

Sub: Complete Blackout due to PVC cable which got cut from the pole.

After lodging repeated compliants to the chembakkam EB Office nobody has turnedover to rectify the fault . After giving repeated phone calls and 1912 (Dial 1912 to complain about power supply failure), even after going inperson to the EB office and after lodging the complaint nobody had turnedup to resolve the issue it is going to be more than a day yesterday we spent our living without power, when enquired the EB peopelc they used to tell us that the people were not available, so after repated requests via phone and shown our presence at their office also failed ...

I do not understand what is their problem in fixing or sorting this issue.


Their work is not a permanent solution it is only a temporary arrangement .

I would request the higher autorities to carryout surprise inspection and see the shabby work done by them ...

Sir,

Actually we are using geyser, TV, Mixie, and lights only. But we are paying around Rs 900. But in my neibour house they are having geyser, 2 nos Air conditoner, TV, Music systems etc. But they are paying only 500 to 600 only.
How it is possible? Is there any wiring mistake. Kindly check and rectify the problem.

Dear Sir/Madam,

After repeated complaints to the EB no on turned over to check the fault in my home. Is this a proper department for the consumer to complaint? However complained service is very poor but when the EB bill not paid there is a immediate cut in the power.

If anyone who can help out the public grievances please do somethin. Atleast some responsible person meed to respond.
